[BUNGIE] 2.0 Update Known Issues [UPDATED 9/11]
Hey everyone,
Destiny update 2.0 is currently available for download. It is a required update for all current Destiny players. For more information on the requirements for this update, please see [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13429]this Help article.[/url]
With the release of the Destiny 2.0 update, a few questions and issues have been posted on this #Help forum. Below will be a running list to address them. Please be sure to check the notes below for updates, and let us know if you see something different that what is currently known:
[b]• Some players are able to access Emblems and Shaders from the Weapons Pack, SUROS Arsenal Pack and Collector's Edition Exotic Guardian Class Items before 9/15/2015. All items will be made available to eligible players on 9/15/2015. We apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that may have been caused.

[b]• We're aware of an issue where Patrols, Faction-specific Quests, and Strikes from the Vanguard Legacy Playlist are not granting the expected rewards upon completion. These rewards will be granted as expected for these activities starting on 9/15/2015. Patrols completed before this time will not retroactively grant rewards. Faction-specific Quests will be able to be completed at a later date.[/b]
[b]• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. [/b]
[b]• Xbox One players who have purchased The Taken King Collector's Edition Upgrade via the in-game prompt are unable to install the added content at this time. We're aware of this matter and are actively investigating.[/b]
[b][u]9/10 UPDATE[/u][/b]
[b]• There appears to be some confusion surrounding the new sub-class emblems that can be found in the Emblem Collection. The new emblems, which can be found under The Taken King sub-heading, are new emblems that require the completion of certain content and/or Bounties that will be released when Destiny: The Taken King launches. Players who complete their new sub-class Quests do not qualify for these emblems yet. There will more steps to complete, starting on September 15[/b].
[b]• The Exotic Guardian Class Items, which are included in Destiny: The Taken King Collector’s Edition, will be available to all eligible players when Destiny: The Taken King launches. Any missing Exotic Class Items will be re-issued appropriately[/b]
[b]• Xbox One users who have purchased the Digital Collector's Edition via the in-game prompt can now install their content to ensure items will be granted when Destiny: The Taken King is launched on September 15. [b]• We're aware of an issue where the Cryptarch will very rarely return a decrpyted Engram with no item reward. This affects players in the Level 4-14 range. This issue will be resolved when Destiny: The Taken King launches on September 15.[/b]
[b]• A select few Emblems that were offered via promotion when Destiny launched may not be available for pick up at the Emblem Collection. We're aware of the issue and are actively investigating.[/b]

I just started a new hunter class for the rise of iron coming up and I didn't get my class exotic when I deleted my last one, it was still in the delivery kiosk, and now it's not there. Would there be any way to get it now? Any help would be great. I have my Titan and warlock exotics but not my hunter

I haven't been able to unlock the quests that award the Mercurial Dawn and Surfbreaker shaders. My Titan and Warlock both hit level 40 in September, but I don't have either shader. I think it's related to update 2.0.0.4.

I have the same issue as a lot of the people on here. I got the Taken King in January 2016, and I only got the class items for my Hunter and Titan.

I just want all the things I paid you guys money for and all you offer for support is this sub par help forum. Invest some money we are all giving you huge amounts for and make a real customer service department to deal with all of these problems.

Finished with the daughters. Chest popped up. Didn't have room in my special weapons slot. Two shotguns (one harrowed) appeared however slot full. Left raid. They are not in postmaster. Any thoughts/help?

1 ReplyUmmm.... so i guess Bungie refuses to address that there are still thousands of people who can't even download the 2.0 patch update, let alone the DLC. I haven't even been able to play destiny since the update hit and bungie is more worried about fixing shader colors and changing emblems.

I had owned the disc copy of the game and preordered the taken king which i began trying to download about a week ago. I have tried everything from changing my dns, clearing my cache, hard resets, wired connection, uninstalling the entire game and redownloading it from scratch, all to no avail. No matter what i do, the base game will download from the disk but as soon as i try to download the update, it gets permanently stuck at 52% game transfer in game and at 3% on my dashboard. Not even counting the fact that i spent 40 bucks on this, im just begging for someone to help me find a solution here so i can play this awesome game. Peace out and thanks[/quote]

This is now the 4th time that I've bought Destiny. Twice for Xbox 360, once for Xbox One, and now once on PS4. I bought the Collector's edition for the PS4 so that I can get the bonuses and not waste my money on content that I already owned (Destiny, The Dark Below, and House of Wolves). I started playing on PS4 2 days before TTK release and only made one character. My hunter received the class item, emote, and shaders. I just recently made my Titan and it hasn't received anything. I'm wondering when I'll get my bonuses, and I'm really hoping that after spending close to $500 on this game that the answer isn't "Too late, you missed your chance"

I bought the collector's edition and got the New emote and shader as well as the exotic class item for my titan. So I boosted a hunter and checked the mail and i hadn't received the shader,emote, nor did i get the class item

I figured it might just be me and bad luck, but I'm so surprised to see that I'm not the only one. My Warlock and Titan which I created before 2.0 and TTK released had their class items and emotes once I installed TTK. My Hunter which I created just to experience the story from scratch, not a single thing, no class item, no emote - I figured I would receive it when I hit level 40, still nothing. And now you're asking us to pay real money for emotes, could you maybe give us what we paid for first?
