I say it's happening THIS Dawning! Did you see the calendar? What an odd icon to represent the Dawning... A racing sparrow! Also, there's exhaust trails from other sparrows, almost as if they're racing each other... I mean why not use the cryptarch? Or Eva? Or an engram? Or a cookie? Or a snowflake? Nah, bungie chose racing sparrows.

I hope so now would be a good time to bring it back especially since the end of season of undying was a flop kinda the reason I'm hesitant to even fly my undying title.

There's literally no downside to adding it back in. They already have all the resources to do it so it wouldn't waste time. Also if you don't like it, don't play it? 🤷♂️

10 RepliesI’ve said this on most SRL posts. So I’ll do it again. Most did not like the mode. It was mainly played because it had a high chance to drop a Max light helmet which at the time few had. So it was the best way to level up if you needed it because other than that it only dropped racing armor at pretty much no light. So people suffered through it for that. Then you had completionists that wanted Grimore score or to collect sets and horns. Other than that it was never played

Bring back the armor, ditch the racing. Most people played for the gear anyway.

For those couple of seasons that we had SRL- it was a nice diversion during the holiday season: it was only available during the holiday season

We have so many exotic sparrows that it seems ridiculous that we don’t have SRL which is the perfect place to show them off! I’d even be fine if they just brought all the old maps back untouched to save on development. Was always a fun time with friends and a great way to unwind after raids and nightfalls back in D1.
