What exactly is the point of the Septagon?
I come here a lot and I dont really know the wole purpose of this forum. From what i've seen, and, what seems to be growing is increasing alarm from the people who post here. Mostly, complaining. Now, take a second to laugh at the irony that this is a thread comlaining about complainers and complaining in general.
Now, the fact that i've made this thread can mean a few things, one being that i'm an ass and an attention whore. Those are true, but not the reason I made this thread. I'm actually concerned about this. It seems that there is more complaining( He said it again!) about the faults of this community rather than what we already have that's positive about it.
Now, don't get me wrong, threads that say "Hey, this is a problem. Now, hear my solution" I totally like. Atleast it brings some sort of answer to a problem that they have. I'm talking about the "Hey, Ahcronos, get of your butt cause I found a problem that needs correctifying(did I make that word up?) P.S. Blame Stosh lololololol".
Anyway, I think I digress from the overall point of this thread. What is the point of the Septagon? If this is a gathering place for the Bungie community, why is there an Underground forum? It seems that, more general bungie talk is done here than ANYWHERE else on this entire site. Hell, I sometimes think more Bungie talk is done here than on the front page! <----- Overestimation of this forum's Bungie talkitude( i'm full of 'em today!).
Err, anyway, i'd enjoy some feed back from the "community".

The Septagon is the army of bungie which is one of the keys to World Domination. Without us, The Septagon, Bungie will not be able to take over the world, or on a smaller scale, The continent.

I find it more serious than any other section on the forums and I enjoy that I suppose. Plus when a topic is posted here, I can be certain it'll stay on the first page for at least a day and people might have a chance to see it...

I seems to be for complaining and attention seeking... I also think that many people are lazy and post Bungie related topics in here, instead of the Underground, because it is easier, and because they will receive more attention here. Then they turn around and tell you the Underground should be deleted. ...

Bungie Community Forum is for posts about the Bungie Community itself or the Bungie.net website. That is not the same as the purpose of the Bungie General Forum, which is for discussion of Bungie's activities and occurrences. The two aren't exactly fire and water, but the difference seems pretty clear to me.
