Does 7-11 sell lighters to minors?
I'm wondering if they do because I thought that they wouldn't, but my friend says they do.

Just tell them you are going camping or something and need it to start a fire. Thats what I do if anybody give me trouble, it usually works.

That would be an extraordinarily bad idea for two reasons: 1. Zippos are not air-tight like butane lighters. Butane is a gas. A small amount might become trapped in the Zippo for a little while, but not long enough to be useful. 2. As a gas, butane is extremely flammable if not controlled. For the 10 seconds that the butane was trapped in the Zippo's spongy interior, the thing'd be a fireball waiting to happen. depends where you buy em. i went to china town once, bought a buterfly knife, and 3 lighters, 1 for me and 1 for 2 of my friends. and lol, they had no problem with it. of course my parents took my knife away when they found it a few months later, and it got thrown in the trash right before the garbage truck came so i couldn't get to it.

It probably depends on the cleric, I don't think that their are any laws against lighters being sold to minors, but plenty of clerics stop kids because they aren't dumb, they know what is going on. I think that when that guy said steal, he meant from the store, not from your family. Just try it, all they would do is just tell you to put it back. They aren't working for the 5-0 or anything.
