Hello, how do I go about reporting a person scamming in the Destiny 2 forums?
[REDACTED] is scamming people through the Destiny forums for Trials of Osiris Runs, I have photo evidence of this and the conversations. He's asking people to purchase 10 dollar codes through amazon and then asking them to give them to him. Now, its only 10 dollars, so its not that upsetting; now only imagine how many helpless kids he's scammed through these tactics? I was wondering what was the best course of action of contacting destiny to report him to try and get his account banned & as well as contacting PSN to try and get his whole PSN account banned as well. Any help would be appreciated greatlly.

1 ReplyYes he's super shady. I've reported any post solicitation. I've even used an off account to troll him saying I was gonna send him money but I never did. 😂😝😂

If any kind of Solicitation happens on the bungie.net Forums, we ask you to never engage with these Users, and to report these threads or private messages with the report tools you have. You can find the option to report below every post or next to the private message. Alternatively, you can private message any of the Ninjas (Forum Moderators) and send them information as you did here. The reason we ask you to private message us, or utilize the report tools, is to prevent harassment of any User. This is also the reason why we normally do not discuss moderation actions on the public forums. I realize you feel like this person deserves to be harassed for scamming you. But it is a rule on bungie.net to prevent any harassment happen, and this is why I have removed the name of the User and your evidence in your post, after looking at it. If any of this happens outside the bungie.net Forums, we as Forum Moderators of bungie.net, and bungie.net only, have no control over it. However, you can report any scam via the report tools of your platform, and take the matter up to the support team of your platform. I hope this clears up things. If you have any other question, feel free to reply to me or private message me, but please note that actual moderator actions can only be discussed via private message.
