Destiny 1 xbox 360 character not transferring to xbox one
So i'm trying to transfer to my new xbox one. I have a lvl 40 on my xbox 360. when I logged into my xbox one it just gave me an option to create a new character.
what i have done so far
worked with xbox support we did a soft reset on the xbox one, and cleared the cache, uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game, contacted activision
but they said we had to contact bungie.
ya so thats where i'm at now.
any help would be great

6 RepliesHey there, A few questions. Are you playing on the same xbox live account that you played with on xbox 360? If you are, have you ever logged your xbox live account into an xbox one before this? The import process is a one time deal. If at one point you had logged into Destiny one xbox one (a friend’s console for example), you will not be able to import your current characters from xbox 360.

If you mean you're trying to transfer from D1 on 360 to D2 on Xbox one, characters had to meet certain requirements before August 8th, 2017. If they met the requirements, they automatically transferred. That was the only time characters transferred, so if it didn't happen then, your only option is to make new characters.
