Okay fellas it's pretty simple, we want two flags... not 3
Please, ALL OF YOU, Stop trying to capture all 3 flags if you're not in a fireteam of 6.
When I'm with my Fireteam, we can capture all 3 flags and earn a crapton of XP (about 325 per kill) because of domination.
Now even though that's a nice thing to aim for ...

The goal is control. COntrol means to control the enemy team. Keeping them on their one flag. We get too close, we don't control.
Whenever I go solo I see all of you, ALL OF YOU, go for the third flag like it's the holyland. Please, unless you and your friends are coordinated and playing together, don't go for the third flag. Please.
Seriously, PLEASE.
In fact if you guys want a tip for solo , chill back at the furthest flag, theres always someone trying to sneak around to take it. Steady points.

Agreed you should only go after the third flag if you know whithout a doubt that you can secure it without losing control right after or if you need to trade objectives since your other flag is being taken.

The only time I dont mind when spawns flip uncontrolably is when I have rockets. Gjal plus raid armour FTW! ;)

33 отв.I actually like going for a flag whenever I can, it usually divides the opposing team and I mop up the guys that try to come defend it. Like on Firebase Delphi, if we have A & B, you know they're going to be rushing from C to B, likely jumping up through the window. I'll go to C, take cover, smack down the guys that spawn and try to defend it, then come wipe out the guys rushing to B from behind. You may like to stick back and defend B, but I like to play aggressively. [b]THE GOAL IS TO WIN[/b] Seriously, PLEASE. Let me play this game how I want to. With all the complaints about Bungie forcing you to play the game "their way" you'd think these types of posts would be non-existent.

16 отв.It's a game and I care not for others major league and/or hardcore tactics. I play how I like which means ill be that one person running around like an idiot trying to get all flags, even if it causes a loss. ITS A GAME ill be happy with just the satisfaction of popping the lead guy of the other team in the face with a shotgun :)

For the past about ten games I've played I always gotten a team like this. I can't rank up IB until half way through this weekend because of it. :P

Spawn trapping is boring when you do it and ruins the game to have it done to you. I would rather have fun and lose than be a p*ssy and spawn trap the whole game

Oh my rngeezus I know!! I get so pissed when we have the two best zones on a map for like half the time and then it's like half the team gets bored or cocky and rubs for the third. Idiots.

So, followed this advice in IB. Had my first match with 14 kills. That's going from a previous high of four. So, yeah, guard objectives. Only hold two. Watch what your team members are doing (including what's killing them).

1 ответThank you for this. Truth is, I'm that guy. I've never played a FPS kind of game till Destiny. In fact I avoided them. This is good information and, for anyone who should get stuck in a Control match with me from now on, I promise I will not be "that guy" anymore.

Different play styles for different people. I used to be a competitive gamer when counter-strike reigned. Compared to that I find modern games a joke but fun. Recoil non-existent and poor map design encouraging specific gun types to rule over others and supers you don't even have to aim calls for less skill. I now just run straight into the fray looking to complete whatever bounty I may have. Rarely took the pvp in this game seriously but always have fun playing it. Btw, there's a bounty that calls for capturing flags. I'd rather charge in like Rambo trying to secure more flags than defend a point making it less likely for me to secure more flags. The pvp in this game is far from competitive when there are bounties people are looking to complete
