So am I the only one that didn't buy the Ice-Breaker?
I just don't see the point in it, sure it explodes enemies but really what are the chances you're going to kill anyone else with the explosion, I don't want the regenerating ammo either, sorry but I can walk. If I'm going to use anything that regens ammo it's going to be the Invective. Plus the fact my Suros Regime is going to be out pretty much 24/7

I ran out of time to upgrade mine but that gun is super useful for ammo regen and impact. The exploding perk is just a bonus

in pve sniper rifles are one of the most useful weapons, and infinite ammo means you can clear alot of missions without ever risking a signle thing, it also allows you to give infinite ammo to all of your secondary weapons as the ammo you generate on it carries over if you switch weapons. the exploding is a perk but the infinite ammo is what you buy it for.

5 отв.Изменено (SpeckTech): 12/16/2014 12:40:01 PMSame boat. The sniper isn't good for anything more than burst damage. Black Hammer is superior as you have infinite clips basically for bosses crit spots. + isn't exotic. I got it from a strike and now it's sitting in my vault.

Got one from a weekly strike about 2-3 weeks in then brought 2 more when xur sold them! :)

3 отв.How is regenerating ammo not a good thing? There is a reason people ask for icebreakers during raids, nightfalls, daily, weekly. Do you need it? Most definitely not. Is it really good if you do have it? Yes. It is by far one of if not the best sniper.

Ice Breaker makes some of the hardest things in the game a joke, you obviously wouldn't know how amazing it is since you think you did a good thing by passing it up.

It's wrecks in pve. Seriously you can't appreciate it until you have it. Basically that gun makes it possible to be able to solo most nightfalls.
