Can we expect an update in the futre for the option to have random matchmakng when looking for a raid mission. its hard to find a 6th player a majority of the time. i think alot of other ppl have this problem too. the soultion would be to find a random person that is qued for it just like for strike missions. good job on the game guys just a few small adjustments will put this game in a near perfect shooter dungon crawler lets see if the ppl think its a good idea

Изменено (Ralinsilver): 10/6/2014 7:35:42 PMSo what if a some of the people don't have mic's or are shit. Friend the good ones and move on. Fireteam leader should be able to kick and matchmake for another person. There is no reason I should have to leave the game to find people to play with, its just stupid. I have been invited to teams and completed the raid. Its the same thing as matchmaking only takes more time and is lowering the value of the game. There are about 26000 people on the Xbox One group for messaging, but that is only a small fraction of the people who actually purchased the game. How many people out there have no idea how to access raid content because there is no matchmaking and they don't know about the forums / DestinyLFG. If there is no In-Game tool (for the none app/forum) people to find others to play with for all the extra content then they will probably just leave. Thats not good for anyone especially if there business model is like Guild Wars (F2P - Pay for access to Extra Content). Everything should be ingame, matchmaking (even if its manual matchmaking / LFG tools), Grimorum, prox/team chat.

2 отв.Изменено (Mike-MF-Hall): 10/6/2014 5:40:54 PMI say no. Its getting hard to keep 3 randoms together for a 10-15 min strike. Dunno how you'd get 6 to stay for some hours. Maybe only make it available after you've completed the given raid once already. It doesn't mean people will stay, but at least if they all know the fight theres less of a time commitment

2 отв.Raid easy with good team and communication. Raid not easy with shit team and lack of communication. Raid fun with fun team. Randoms =/= fun. Raid better no matchmaking. Use dipstick jimmy

Изменено (BrthrhdOfSteel): 10/6/2014 5:49:20 PMThis is a comment of another post below, but wanted it to be seen as MY problem with raiding and why I think it would work. I feel 90% of people wanting to raid realize the hours commitment, and the team based/communication based aspect of it. quote: "I think it would work. most people wanting to do raids realize that its a several hour commitment. I have a hard time doing them because a lot of my clan are in a diff time zone and I work A LOT. I only have barely enough time when I get home to even do one, let alone have 5 others that have time to do it at that exact time. This is why I have only completed it once. It really is the most fun aspect of the game, and bungie designed it around raids as the primary goal."

deej just did an interview about this with ign

4 отв.Vote to have Bungie put IN GAME CHAT. So I don't have to be on the forums more than actually playing the damn game.

1 ответI haven't been able to so the raid, but I can admit their shouldn't be matchmaking. It's meant to put a group of people together for a common cause. You all have the same goal and ambition, with match making for something that takes hours to beat you will get a lot of players who just want the rewards and have no desire to work as a team and cooperate. Kind of like the people that join strikes and just sit their hoping you'll do everything

Futile attempt is futile

Good grief, I've been in so many of these threads already, but I'll give the condensed version. I understand the need to have a communicative team in the raid in order to succeed. I have a group of six that's working our way to a high enough level, collectively, to do the raid. BUT there is absolutely no reason why Bungie can't at least offer matchmaking, with a warning that it's difficult without a team of friends, and let people sink or swim. Like in Dark Souls, nobody ever had to speak once people had tried an area enough, and knew what to do.

3 отв."I failed the raid" why? Crappy team..option 2 " I failed the raid" why? I never got the chance to try.

7 отв.I voted NO. Let me explain why: 1 - You need to be very familiar with each other's play styles once you enter the raid. We have 2 warlocks with Radiance, so we know that if they go down they are going to self-revive. We also have one person who is very comfortable with the shield, and two hunters (including myself) who have the helm that gives the extra golden gun shot (making it paramount that we are the ones that go through Atheon's Portals and take out oracles). You don't get that sort of familiarity and knowledge about each other with match making. 2 - You can compensate for weak links in a group of friends, because you most likely know about them as you enter the Vault. We carried a level 26 last week, who wasn't the greatest, but we were aware of that and we all made sure he was well looked after. Why? Because we knew about the player before hand. Again, you don't know that with match making. 3 - There's a camaraderie you build doing the raid over a few nights with some of your closest friends - planning on what times to meet up, grinding it through, getting annoyed and frustrated with each other, laughing it up. Again, you don't get that with matchmaking. Play with a group of 5 one night, and then play with another group of 5 the second night? It's not the same with matchmaking. 4 - BEATING THE RAID with your friends, is one of those great gaming experiences that you'll talk about over beers in a few weeks - it's an extremely unique gaming experience, and the successful ending had us cheering, dancing, yelling into our mics, and overall being super happy. Once again, you don't get that same sheer emotion by playing with 5 randoms in matchmaking. 5 - It's not hard to make 5 friends in Destiny. Interacting with players is easy, and interacting with people on these forums is easy. There are MULTIPLE threads going up each day about people requesting raid help, so it's not hard to identify who needs help, like yourself. 6 - There's a sense of accomplishment and prestige you feel once you've beaten the raid (especially if you get the Chatterwhite shader, meaning you can SHOW OFF to everyone that YOU beat the raid with YOUR friends). There's something really cool and fundamentally enjoyable about having that ability to laud over other people. That you beat some of the most difficult content the game has to offer, while others aren't in a position to even try it. THere's a huge sense of accomplishment and prestige that your 6 man crew bettered the game. Setting it up so ANYBODY can go in and do that, completely tarnishes the raid experiences. *** If you are unable to make FIVE friends over a social video game, then you don't deserve the gear you get from the raid. Simple as that. It's not hard to do. It boggles my mind that people are complaining about not being able to make friends. Jesus, what the hell are gamers turning into? Embarrassing. ****

13 отв.It won't and shouldn't be put in. It is not hard to find 5 people. Matchmaking would be a clusterf**k. Most people don't have mics and I'm sorry a majority of people are literally clueless. Sure you might get everyone 27+ but do they have void dmg weapons? Are they paying attention? So they know the fights? If they don't have a mic...well. It just won't work. They just need a forum specifically for raids and group making, companion app is enough.

11 отв.Raiding on its own is a completely different beast. It requires coordination unseen in a match of crucible or strikes. I'm honestly not sure what Bungie should do in this situation...

PSN:NightStalker_TS1 rank 27 IF anyone is looking for a 6th VOG or to do weekly n ightfall , friend me
-
I know that when you all get off your probably not gonna be all online at the same time again so lets say you get to a checkpoint get off come a hour later and its other players
-
It should only have the option open if you have beaten the raid before, I've done the vault with randoms and it took waaay too long, on top of having to deal with 2 rage quits and a few really annoying assholes. Matchmaking sounds nice, and would probably work 45% of te time, but the other 55% would be terrible. I just think taking the time to find a team gives you a better shot inside because you have at least talked and organized before hand.
-
If we can find 5 people by going online, Bungie should just streamline the process and put it in the game. Its matchmaking either way and Bungie should just embrace it
-
Sure why not.
-
Lol I can't wait for an actual raid matchmaking to get put in (which it never will), and for all you chodes who wanted it to cry about poor teammates and guys without mics. Finding a raid group is literally the easiest part about raiding, and if you can use the companion app to complain about the lack of functionality, you most certainly can find 5 guys to do a raid with you. I find a group in 5 minutes every time and even then 1-2 of the guys are miserable. Imagine if you get blindly paired with who ever queues? It would be a nightmare. Stop being antisocial and ask and message people for groups.

Изменено (Vehks): 10/4/2014 9:20:11 PMI vote yes, this game by Bungie's own definition is not an MMO, it has limited social tools, and it doesn't share a singular player base as it is spread out over 4 differetnt platforms. Everything in this game should have matchmaking.
-
Matchmaking raids would allow people to find others on their level faster. Way faster than random invites in the tower. Which is, literally, a manual matchmaking.

2 отв.Изменено (TACTICALCHERRY): 10/4/2014 8:46:56 PMThere should be a section dedicated for raid teams on the forums, but would you really want to be teamed up with someone who has no clue on what they are doing? Edit: looking through the tabs i found a section full of VoG stuff. I am just a forum casual

Matchmaking should be in all area's of the game that require multiple participants.
