The Recent Patch Loot
I honestly thought that maybe this new patch would still keep legendaries special, but I am truly disgusted. I have had the patch downloaded for less than an hour and have received 2 legendary pieces of gear.
I hope Bungie reduces the reception rate of legendary engrams from the strike playlist.
I've already received 3 and while ONE was an Ascendant Shard, 2 being legendary gear is way too much.

I got 2 legendary en grams during the first strike I did since patch. None since then and I've done... A LOT since then. Stop complaining about being lucky. It's not a bad thing. You are just complaining to complain.

3 отв.Here is Destiny's biggest problem as a game. It's trying to be one product for two different types of Gamers. It's an identity crisis that has yet to be solved. I hate stereotyping gamers but here goes On one side we have casual and shooter fans that would prefer a good drop rate, with rewards and NOT having to grind for months to get gear. On the other side we have more of a MMO RPG grinder fan that is ok with long grinding and would prefer LESS rare legendary exotic gear so when they do get gear it's "more special" if you call it that. Or they prefer more work to get gear. Either way I'm NOT trying to take sides or say one is right and the other wrong. I'm just stating my opinion that the game never really stated clearly what genre it's in. That's ok and it's trying to bridge gaps, and it's a great game in that sense. It's just a bit tricky to make both sides happy. And being online we compare our characters to each other, and folks get jealous, and blah blah blah we yell at Bungie and ask then to make changes. My only solution is a "impossible solution " that would have a select button at the beginning of the game startup. You pick easy casual drops and get lots of gear or select hardcore grinder and get very very rare drops rates. Not a great solution. I know. Unless Bungie comes out and states very clearly this is how the game is and this IS the drop rate will be in the future so whatever side you want you need to understand THIS is how it will be. Maybe Bungie will address it.

Bosses should drop loot like they did in borderlands,even though most of it was crap you would always hope for that 1 good item.also you would go back time after time trying to get the good stuff

Everyone that's 20 can get easy legendaries from queens wrath. It's like they just give them away, actually they do that too. When you reach new ranks you get/can get (depending on rank level and faction) legendaries. I mean, you can buy exotics for only 13 strange coins from Xur every weekend. Rarity of items and gear in this game just does not exist...

I played for 9 hours after the patch and only got one legendary. You were just lucky.

2 отв.They didnt change drop rates.... they changed how we deal with those drop rates. You must just be a lucky SOB. PS the queen mission shit already gives people WAY too much gear...

2 отв.Your just lucky I played Tiger strikes for 4 hours last night and got zero purple only blue. Tart only gave me blue for my blue engrams. So nothing has changed for me well maybe I got a blue instead of a green in there some where.

2 отв.Well lucky you I did tiger 10 times, all 3 dailys and all 3 weeklys and didn't get shit. I also leveled my cryptarch to 16 and 17 after the patch and got only blue shit. Leveled vanguard to 3 and got blue shit. I have full legendary gear and weapons and would like to max them out to do the raid and this new patch is bullshit. Put the loot cave back you dicks!!

2 отв.I LOVE this forum. It's always entertaining. Dude, you're complaining about something GOOD. Be happy. If you don't want random legendary items, then don't play the game. I'm willing to bet there are bigger and better things to publicly complain about.
