Destiny Beta now available to all (Lied to us)
So, Bungie announced that Destiny is available to all platforms but only if you have PS+ or Xbox live gold. Now, I'm very thankful that Bungie are doing this, It's giving an opportunity for gamers to try out Destiny Beta but I thought Bungie said that if you pre-order the game you get "Exclusive access to Destiny beta". Activision and Bungie issued a statement saying that it was initially going to be exclusive but they just decided to make it for all. So wait, for all those people who pre ordered the game for the beta have gotten their money stolen now? It's not fair that they just decide to do that after all the pre order's people have made. I pre ordered 2 copies of Destiny (both two for destiny) so that is £10 down the drain. Now I'm currently downloading Destiny at the moment, I'm still very excited for the game I am just appalled that Bungie have done this. [u][/u]

4 отв.Pre ordering doesn't cost anyone money. They send a fake 5$ charge to your account to make sure it's real and then cancel it. I don't even think you can put money down on games in stores anymore. If you legitly paid for it then it must be a UK thing because it's not like that in the US.

I do believe xbox and ps users had exclusive access? We had more time than anyone else who is using open beta no? = exclusive time :)

By stressing the servers like they are, Bungie/activision are minimizing the chance that September 9th will be a laggy day full of crashes and frustration. You didn't pay any extra for the beta, and the game will be better because of this. So what's the big deal?.. Sometimes you gotta look at the big picture.

I hate that people keep thinking that the beta is for giving people an exclusive look. It's not. It's for bungie to make the game run smoothly. 10$? Lucky bastard. In Canada, we have to pay full retail price upfront for preorders because the Canadian dollar is like 3 cents less than the US dollar. I am happy they opened it up I am just unhappy that Activision (not Bungie, they have no control over the marketing and distribution areas of the game) lied to us. Contacting Best Buy for a refund.

Seriously!! What Bungie want is to Max out the servers in order to ensure they will manage demand on launch day!! No-one wants destiny to have same problems GTA5 had!! Pre-order players had 5 days more play than "freebies".. Stop whining and just enjoy!!

People don't understand, preordering is putting money down for the game, it doesn't make it $65, it's still $60 but now you pay $55 at purchase.

The people who preordered got plenty of time for the beta compared to those who just recently joined in. Oh, and we paid $5 for a preorder, while PS+ and XBox Gold both have to pay more money for a longer amount of time. So, we got it good on the beta. Don't complain, and enjoy the game

2 отв.I'm not to sure why that's a big deal. The more people in the beta the more chances to test and tweak for final release ( one would assume), but most people that pre-ordered probably did so because they actually want the game when it releases and not just for the beta codes.
