It's Official, 343i Has Lost It.
So as of today, January 21, 2013 the Spartan Ops episodes 6-10 came out.
This is good news as there are new locations and progression on the story.
But wait, what's this? You have to DOWNLOAD THEM? 2.21GB worth.
Sure it's free, but why the extra download? Shouldn't this be something that's already on their system/net?
EDIT: For you doo-doo heads, I have the 320 GB Halo 4 Console.

2 отв.And this is exactly why I don't find on disc dlc to be a terrible thing; It's pure optimization. if you have content you're planning on releasing later after the game comes out anyways and it's done before the game is certified, why not include it on the disc and save your customer the hassle of storing it on his hard drive? ...That's just a side note though, I imagine this was developed after launch.
