I played vanguard alert yesterday on very hard difficulty, and tried a bunch of my best primaries with different people, my weapons failed me to do good enough damage, even red bars wouldn't go down easy before the gun would over heat, or I take critical damage, and must run away and hide, and the accuarcy was lacking on them, despite being near it's maximum, it's even more important under fire, my teammates did better, but they have used abilities My specials and heavies couldn't take down a champion either, even if I had full ammo, and emptied it on them, my most powerful supers enhanced with exotics couldn't take them down as well, it just made a slight ding on them I also did the equilibrium dungeon with the feat cutthroat combatants, and the damage just wasn't there, and we took multiple phases to take down the dungeon bosses
