Tier 5s not dropping at all
Been grinding and at 360 now. Haven’t gotten a single solstice tier 5 or even seen a tier 5. Guardian rank 8. The engrams themselves drop, but they don’t give 5s and give 4s instead.
Went flawless in trials, 7 wins no losses like bungie said, and tier 5 engrams dropped but gave tier 4s.
Genuinely about to give up. People at 300 power guardian rank 7 have gotten 10+ tier 5s while i’ve gotten absolutely none. Kinda confused?

2 отв.Tier 5 in the Solstice event below level 400 only drops when you get a "shiny" holofoil variant of the featured weapons ...being 400 plus only way you get a tier 5 is the way mentioned above or weekly missions . Or and only way to progress after 400 is a pinnacle award which is tier 5..only tier 5 are guaranteed after you reach 450...yeah.. wait til you hit 400. It STOPS COLD.. I've gone up 7 levels in 6 days.

2 отв.I was lucky earlier in solstice, where I got t5 drops soon after hitting 300, gr7. In fact I got 4 armour drops and 4 weapon drops across 2 characters. But now, I can't get a single thing.... still hitting a-rank and putting on all the gear... I'm really unsure whether I'm doing something differently, or just plain out of luck. E.g. might be better rng in the playlist, rather than the daily???

Your reward engram has to forecast T4 in order for things to have a chance to drop at T5. If you're farming at scrub levels, you're not gonna get anything.

T5 drop after hitting 400 and guardian rank 9, also after gm conquest for 390 helps increase drops to +4. At 350 can do mythic weekly for T5 but need the upgrade at the altar of relativity for those missions to drop T5.

Below 400, T5/holo or plus 2 is rare drop. Normal drop is T3 but for event items bump up to T4 or plus 1. T5 will drop, guaranteed, 400 and above.

I got some tier 5 armor and weapons last week around Thursday or Friday from solstice at 350ish but nothing this week so far. It probably was a bug and was stealth nerfed because I didn’t think t5 could drop outside of the weekly missions before 400

For T5 loot below 400 power, you only get T5’s with a holofoil drop, if you get lucky to get one it drops with a piece of T5 armor with it. 2 for 1

I’ve gotten six tier 5 solstice boots and absolutely nothing else, just the boots.

4 отв.Sadly it's RNG. I ran 57 clears of Deep Stone Crypt before dropping eyes while everyone else on my raid team had dropped at least 3 by then. I'm 310 GR7 and just dropped a tier 5 Solstice bow and piece of armor this morning for the first time.

400+ power and guardian rank 9 without clan affiliation also guarantees T5 drop with B+/A finish. Just level up to 400 (at least you get a +3 on every run) and get T5s on every run
