Bring back onslaught with matchmaking
I’m an adult with lots going on so I’m currently only like 190 light, so by using fireteam finder I will get kicked ALL the time.
This has been the most frustrating and alone I’ve ever felt playing this game. Even for a solo player.
The portal has really felt terrible and the world of Destiny feels too hollow to me right now. It feels like I’m just grinding the same missions over and over again solo to achieve nothing.
At least have the [i]option[/i] to do all these fireteam matches solo or matchmade.

And fix the amount of scrap so that spending it on the first 1 or 2 locations isn’t a waste of time. And nerf enemy damage on the ADU above the lower power levels. Players begged for a Horde Mode for so long, got it, and loved it.. and then they just completely killed it unceremoniously.

Onslaught was fun especially when the 50 wave had matchmaking did not play much during revenant no matchmaking rip

6 отв.With the current system, once you hit 300+ power, onslaught is a waste of time. Anything will nuke the ADU faster than you can fix it, and the rewards and time needed to acquire them are not worth the trouble.

I have no problem with Onslaught with randos , never lost a match with randoms , and a lot of them are very good players . I won't play OS until they get rid of that Void Binding turning Onslaught into baby sitting, and adding more gameplay loop that isn't skill based , just punishment for playing .

9 отв.UMMM... NO! onslaught was a between the seasons thing that was meant only to force players to grind for the hope of a god roll weapon. It is not fun and engaging content. It was filler material because they had nothing else before the new expansion which was delayed because they performed so poorly, financially, they had to delay the expansion. It is like asking for the infinite forest back. YUCK! It is the exact same thing a zillion times for what, the hope of a good drop? We need new content not repeat until you puke content.

3 отв.I agree it should still have a permanent matchmade version like it did. All fireteam ops activities should have a matchmaking option.

I just made a post about this too. They sunsetted onslaught because it was too easy to farm, is what they did. Now we have to use fireteam finder to play it. It's so -blam!- stupid.

If they don't, you'll have absurd wait times if you try to matchmake for lesser played ones. If you focus matchmaking to 3 at a time instead of like 9 or whatever, even if it's a lesser played one, it'll still have enough of a player pool for decent matchmake times.

Изменено (Guardian1309): 8/6/2025 9:09:23 PMNormally I would 100% agree with PandaPapa146's comments 100% (and actually do but have given up on D2 since EoF so don't even care that only on VERY rare occasions does my current clan's leader is the only other left in our clan with me, so no longer care at all about D2) But I also side with you in that I went into Onslaught because I loved and running it solo for the quest for upgrading SUCKSDONKEYWANKERS! It should, as many other things should, have an option for match making, making it fun to play still. True I'm a solo player now a days, wanted the '[b][i]option[/i][/b]' to run strikes solo, even NF's but ALL activities that had matchmaking should STILL have match making!!!!

2 отв.OP: if you really want to shift the needle, do the Solstice crucible game, and reap the harvest of really good loot. Also, solo ops / Caldera - try get a B setting, no need for an A. It’s very doable…good practice…and good for some decent loot to help bump-up the numbers. Finally, you might consider to find a new clan, where you are not the only active member…since way back! 🤔 If you need a spare gun, and I’m on - ping me, if desired…or not. 😁 That is all.
