Lucent brood in expert court of blades
What’s with the overtuned difficulty for the lucent brood in expert Court this week? Can you turn it down a couple notches, it’s night and day compared to the taken/dread from the last 2 weeks. Please and thank you.

Try 1k voices. Lfg'd with someone recently that was using it and we got plat 4 times in a row easily. At least 1-2 min to spare on reaching #13.

and the patch to address did virtually nothing..I'm just going to avoid the week the Lucent Brood rotation comes up. Really bad gameplay design for this particular activity on expert...did you even test this yourselves Bungie dev team? I wish Bungie devs would recognise how miserable this approach of overtuning difficulty beyond what is a fair challenge makes players feel...it's so frustrating/rage inducing...poor game experience lives longer in the memory than a good one And they wonder why they are getting such a hard time with Marathon feedback....

All in one combo Weeeeeee how fun, it's just so fun to play. This is worse than anything we've ever had before, i yearn for the days where we had the actual CoO, Archons Forge, etc and how everything was in two difficulties: normal or hard mode for raids and nightfalls just being hard by default, where things were harder.. But evenly harder with no outliers that ruin the games difficulty set in place. Destiny 2 needs to go back to the roots of what made Destiny.. Destiny, also no more champions (why don't we have those kinds of powers????? We use Stasis and Strand, we should be able to have an on command barrier or super health regen or the ability to just tank anything unless an enemy has a weapon that can flinch us for a few seconds)

3 отв.Just posted something about this in a thread up above…here it comes… ***SNIPPED AND REPOSTED *** Have just been doing a few rounds of court of blades…some mm / solo…it is my most disliked event in this current episode. There’s absolutely zero enjoyment in this overtuned activity - at least, not for me. Last run (solo) I got those 2x Lucent Hive monkeys…with the shifting elemental shields; Hard Light fixed that, though the insta respawn of the ohk horde, and the exploding kamikaze hive that always positioned themselves around the Hive monkeys’ orb!? …whilst I was very slowly respawning myself, or, getting trapped by another respawn horde, or snagged on every rock or pillar imaginable… 🧐 My controller almost received a severe twist…as I seriously contemplated to uninstall the game! I play Destiny for some light relief and amusement…NOT for that kind of bs. ❌❌❌ Murphy, my ghost, agrees! 👻 That is all. Note to Self: Ease Springs! 🤬 ***END SNIP *** 🙄

4 отв.It's not overturned it's been push up to 11+ in later rounds 10,11,12,13 you blink ya get melted.. they don't want players getting decent loot from the last chest if you did not rinse it over the last couple of weeks you're stuck I'm afraid.. until next rotation. It's their hamster wheel logic. They keep this up and yet another mode will become a ghost town 🥃👎👎

Totally agree. I was having fun with CoB Expert over the last couple of weeks, but this week the tuning/difficulty spike is just ridiculous. I guess one blessing is that there aren't rez tokens in it, but it feels like an untuned mess. I don't mind a challenge and love build-crafting, but sadly I'll give Expert a miss this week.

I like to think I am pretty good at the game. I’ve soloed every dungeon I’ve attempted to, gone to the lighthouse plenty of times, etc. But I was well and truly shocked at how hard my -blam!- was handed to me when i tried court this week 😂. I’ll give it a hard pass until next week - weather is great here, and I’ll enjoy a bit of time apart from the game 😎.

I’m usually the one saying “skill issue”, “git gud”, etc, but I won’t say that here. Lucent brood is such a massive difficulty spike compared to taken/dread, especially on expert Still completely doable but I’d rather taken/dread any day lol

Bungie's idea of balance is let's make the next activity/rotation worse than before. Been that way honestly since Shadowkeep with adding Champs. Lucent Hive later with them having lower cooldowns and some being fully CC immune, then came Dread with Tormentors, Subjugators, and every annoyance under the sun followed after. If you are hoping for enemy nerfs, they aren't going to do it unfortunately. Hell, they've been nerfing Well for years, yet the game is still balanced around the Forsaken version of it.
