Palindrome - 2025
A very confusing Palindrome re-launch coming up….. This is the best feeling PvP hand cannon in the game, and you’ve just snubbed the people waiting YEARS for it to arrive again…..
I hope you realise what issues it could create by you placing your eggs in one basket in that Exalted Truth becomes the 140 dream, when history is telling that its model is something hardly anyone enjoys to shoot in comparison.
If you did a poll you’d quickly gain the knowledge that the community would want it back to Void, and with VIABLE PvP perks on it. The choice made to completely divert your weapon decision deliverance is absolutely mind boggling to say the least in that you choose this weapon to do that with!!!!! My whole clan are baffled, even the players which don’t play PvP!!!
The “[redacted] perks” will be placed towards PvE with Arc dominance to replace Voltshot, only the short sighted wouldn’t see that coming……..
Delivering a better fit would fill up the GM population, and you’ll also give the players who invest SO much time and money into PvP….. You’ve forced this weapon out for populate bullet points within an arc season, rather than giving the best PvP hand cannon in the game its patient glory.
We are used to farming PvE for PvP weapons, used to farming PvP for PvE weapons and surely that works well…… Why on earth would you pick THIS weapon to move the goal post?

Void to arc makes sense as there are no top tier arc PvP handcannons. Sight line survey is probably the best and very niche. Also the perks are ok. Yes you don’t get slide shot which I think a lot of people love now due to Rose but it does get some interesting perks and explosive/precision instrument could be a great duelling roll if precision interacts with explosive in a positive way. If not, there are some very good rolls. However, I think palindrome and exalted both won’t see much use and that’s because of Rose. Yes they’re different slots but with the vast choice of secondaries now people will still gravitate to the best handcannon and that’s rose. Yes it gets slide shot but it also gets lightweight and until rose is altered or nerfed then people won’t use any other legendary 140 more than it.

The guns already got insane stats it doesn’t ’need’ the best perks. + It’s Favourited over Exalted by Model and Nostalgia if they put every S tier perk on it it would make Exalted pointless and no reason to play trials for it. I’d rather have two diff 140s to play with this season coming than pally having all the juice and it getting boring with 2-3 weeks.

Truly bizarre that they gave it such a perk pool. The rolls on most of the plays list weapons next season are disappointing in general. They lack many existing synergy perks. Between this and Shadow Price’s pool I’m convinced they just hate arc NF weapons. It’s so weird that they don’t make them desirable.

5 отв.Next season is arc heavy centric, just look at all the arc based changes coming. Palindrome being arc could be a blessing in disguise. Why don't you just wait until the new season drops instead of panicking over nothing.

4 отв.Yes! Amen. Exalted Truth has crazy stats but never felt as good as Palindrome. I don't know if it's because it's a Suros frame or what. An amazing aesthetic. Never functioned as well as my Pali. Ever.

I think you are correct with that Exalted truth suros model just not ever feeling great no matter how it performs... I would prefer the Waking Vigil model re-made elite in Arc (always liked the feel of that one).. but I guess I will adapt as Bungie never changes this kind of stuff..
