I never thought bungie would be dumb enough to really do that. I was the dumb one lol
-
Don’t believe anything this guys says. This wasn’t a bug. This was intentional and is the kind of business Bungie is.
-
What did I do??
-
Not you,that guy
-
-
And they didn't... It was a bug.

Изменено (amazing_month041): 10/29/2024 8:44:33 AMBungie will do anything stpid to increase play time 1.Time gating 2. Putting -5 on every activity 3 . Not giving us higher starnge coin cap 3. Removing strange coins from dares 4. Removing craftable seasonal weapons 5 . No duplicate protection on pinnacle/exotic class item ( In TFS it took me almost a mont to reach LVL cap because the non stop sime pinnacle in the same slot) Etc etc After all of this you saying that their oopsie in the code wasn't intentional?
-
Was it a bug? Perhaps... Or Perhaps Not!!!!
-
Bullshit and you know it.
-
No, as soon as I looked at the data.... And did my own analysis and research I knew it was a bug, I knew where... maybe not the exact coding, but that it was those errors in the scripting. I talked about it. As a basic example I used before, If you number the perks, X represents the 3rd column... There is scripting that says, "If X =1, then X2 ≠ 1, X3 ≠ 1". Errors within those rules of logic in weapon pools with multi-perk'd variants is causing the unintended perk weighting.
-
Dude we all told you it was weighted and you ran your mouth over and over again. You were wrong!!!!!! End of
-
I wasn't wrong at all. Keep yelling into the void.
-
Wrong. I’ll pull the posts if you want guy!

Изменено (jhermannITJ): 10/29/2024 1:22:02 AMDo it. Post the links, I know what I said. 😇 👍💠 You've had over an hour, I waited patiently... Played some onslaught to pass the time, guess what I got... Envious Arsenal BnS... Arc, & I wanted an arc one for my Hunter. It's almost like if you put good energy out, you'll get it back. I don't believe in that manifestation stuff, I'm nice for the sake of it. Serves me well, with no ulterior motives.
-
I’m nice man, just been a long time coming. I’ve been saying it was weighted for a long time. Feels good to have proof
-
It's just a bug?
-
-
That's their story. I think if it is/was a bug, it's more concerning that they didn't catch it seeing how they are absolutely obsessed with data. There's no way to prove intent so they can get away with it no matter what.
-
I want you to think about something for a second. Iirc this bug has been present since forsaken. There are several million players with billions of hours played, who've combed through game files over years and years and data mined and made hundreds of thousands of data sets and scenarios and excel spread sheets. And they just amassed info verifying it recently. If it takes a population of millions to find this. Do you think it's really that farfetched that a workforce of 1000 didn't find it?

Especially when you are inclined to trust something/someone. Players weren't even looking at this issue specifically until recently. If they were, we would have known about it months ago. It took what, like a matter of a couple days to prove?
made hundreds of thousands of data sets and scenarios and excel spread sheets.
None of which that I can recall were done on this current issue. If you can find one or know of one, Id be happy to eat my words.
Do you think it's really that farfetched that a workforce of 1000 didn't find it?
I do when its their actual job. It took people that don't actually work there to bring this forward. Bungie designs the systems in their game. Nobody else. They are also the same people that hire psychologists to help design systems to encourage cash shop purchases and keep players playing in perpetuation. Does that sound honest to you? Nevermind, don't answer that. I've seen some of your other replies. I know you believe its a mistake, and that's ok. You have the right to your opinion. Like I said up top, nobody can prove intent, so it's impossible to argue.
-
Good point
-
It makes me sound like an A hole, but I do think it was done intentionally. And for the ones that it "benefits", I think that was done so it wasn't so obvious. I don't have a whole lot of trust for them, as you can tell.
-
Yes, on new weapon pools only... reprised weapon pools that offer multi-perk'd variants for those weapons. It can work in your favor, that's why Gambit is so popular right now. For Bygones...
-
That makes sense why I keep seeing gambit popping up in the forums
-
I know the data, I had an idea what was causing it... They confirmed it. It was a bug. It's not absolutely new... like a year, the reason we figured it out was because of the Dungeon farming for the new heavy GL.
