I completely understand why it was nerfed into the ground for PvP, but it could easily become a solid PvE exotic with just a couple small changes. Make it so that you and your allies deal increased damage to PvE combatants when shooting through it, and kills on combatants refund a certain amount of Barricade energy. Also bump up its pitiful combatant damage resistance a little, and then we're golden.
