Bungie has overtuned RNG in this game, at least for non-seasonal weapons. This is coming at a really bad time for Bungie and Destiny 2. Player sentiment is low. Daily player counts are much lower than normal.
Iron Banner - you guys should have given a guaranteed path towards the first new weapons, so we can turn in engrams to get our desired rolls. I have played far too many Iron Banner matches and turned in too many generic IB engrams to Saladin to get these to drop. And they won’t.
I’ve completed Warlords Ruin over 25 times and Buried Bloodline still hasn’t dropped. Meanwhile, you have a small number of players in the game who get to enjoy using these early.
You see, players don’t necessarily desire to farm a specific activity, non-stop, to obtain a desired loot. Some times we will, depending on the loot. But, having to complete these activities at the COST of not spending time in activities we actually do enjoy… that is a recipe for disaster.
I’ve taken many LONG breaks from this game before. I’m at a point now where I, and tens of thousands of other players are feeling we must do the same. I think that since you guys have got Sony disappointed with your sales numbers, you may want to implement some important QOL fixes to at least lower the temperature right now.

4 отв.Изменено (A_mo): 4/4/2024 12:14:13 AMPeople want guaranteed paths but then get mad when people that play more get things faster or get more things. Sometimes it does seem like this game would be cooler and work better if things were more straight up though. RNG is an mmo/live service thing. I was watching drewsky play the master chief collection yesterday and the only thing I couldn't get out of my mind was how halo literally wouldn't let you not like it. If you had ever played a videogame before, you had to respect it or you didn't know what you were talking about, basically like Mario. Now the random thing permeates games because some people for some reason think that it mimics life better or something. Just seems lazy compared to halo. Literally wouldn't let you not like it. Someone somewhere in that company was not going to stand for anyone not liking it. And its somewhat the same now but its done with 20 times more rng stuff. Of course this isn't the only game doing it or the worst offender but still. I probably should have put rng in parenthesis because it applies to PvP too.

Buried Bloodline ... for my part I am at 57 runs, still nothing, I have the solo (not flawless) the master, and the other triumphs to optimize my chances, but I think that doing it with squad research breaks the exotic loot , all the guys with whom I did the boss in "squad search" some have as many runs as me and still nothing for them either... so I find it odd personally
