I was just watching some nostalgia compilation on YouTube of destiny 1 and how simple it was. There wasn't a 'new light quest' you simply made a character and you started level 1, saw the vendors, loaded into the cosmodrome then straight to the tower after you got your ship. It was straight forward, you knew what to do. You got green gear, blue gear and legendary gear, from grinding. But the grinding was simple and clean. Your quests were organised, easy to follow. Destiny 2 you're just thrown into some seasonal model, you meet Shaw han (the new light quest is actually decent but too short) after this you have the 'advent' which is again okay but hardly the D1 experience when you arrive at the tower. You're not introduced to any quests that guide you, just seasonal activity, locked behind a paywall. Previous seasonal activity wouldn't make any sense to a new player. Guardian ranks are utterly bonkers. It's some BS flex. Personally I think D2 needs to be made simpler by scrapping previous seasons, and previous titles, maybe even scrapping seasons altogether. They are done, over. No need to grind them over and over every time you make a character. A season is simply a filler. The chapters in the final shape look a lot better, I hope they eventually scrap the seasonal activity. Like all DLC eventually they sunset all the previous seasons and hopefully chapters make a huge difference. The things we need: Tate our top G Legendary weapon bounties Scrap eververse for a weapons vendor Make strikes have more rotation so we aren't playing the same one every time OR have a separate tab for battlegrounds etc. Bugatti with a wide range of colours Extend the new light experience, advent should be made longer with more lore/quests. I think less is more personally. Invest in crypto, escape the matrix.
