Ik people are gonna say elitist go touch grass and I do both these things and have a life and yes I think everyone should try the endgame content but you should not be able to do a flawless solo dungeon or raid because of a gltich. Those are meant to be hard triumphs to achieve your not meant to get them if your not skilled enough. People need to go out their comfort zone and try to learn raid mechanics rather then be carried ive attempted teaching multiple people and they always say it’s to hard even when I encourage them to try. Listen I understand it can annying if you can’t get something you want but wouldn’t it be more rewarding if you earned it fairly and knew in your heart and mind you were good enough to get something like a solo flawless dungeon done. I’m willing to help anyone who wants to learn raids but I just want to see people stop being lazy and start to actually go out their comfort zone and try to learn things. That means mess ups will happen but that’s ok at least your trying to learn and i respect that heavily. Just my take on the glitch currently it is fun but it devalues a lot of the hard achievements in the game currently. Wish everyone a happy and healthy day

2 отв.I have nothing else to put on my college applications now that solo triumphs are meaningless.

5 отв.Menagerie chest. 12 man fireteams. Double nightfall loot. All glitches that were celebrated.

Your in-game accomplishments mean nothing to anybody, except you. You are the only one who cares. Nobody is comparing their accomplishments to yours. None of it matters. Everybody dies. Come watch tv.
-
Integrity as in copying the exact strategy and loadout of your favorite streamer? There's never been any "integrity" to online accomplishments!
-
You’ll still rot in dirt like the rest of us

9 отв.Lol It's a videogame. I'm sure people Maui and other devastated areas in the world are sorry for your loss.

6 отв.Its a video game man. If you measure self-worth with achievements and triumphs in Destiny 2 then you have bigger problems than an in-game glitch insta-nuking bosses. Its looks like people just had fun for the weekend. They weren't trying to crush your epeen.

😂 Hey guys! This guy thinks there's "integrity" in this game. Hahaha hah!

Изменено (Astrosa): 9/18/2023 11:13:10 PMI miss when being op in pve games was ok and people didn’t put game achievements on their resumes. It’s a video game we are meant to have fun, different story for pvp tho

5 отв.I felt annoyed and frustrated like you for about one day. Then I crafted that Vex and had the time of my life with it for two days. I have soloed all the dungeons besides the new one legit. I didn't need to use the glitch to solo it, but I did, and it was hilariously fun. I have almost 500 GM clears. I didn't need to use the glitch to duo it, but I did, and it was awesome. I have over 300 raid clears. I didn't need the glitch to clear Crota again this week, but it was the most fun I've had raiding since the 12-man raid glitch.

being honest most of the players that where using this bug where there to have fun in PVP most of them didn't even have the guns unlocked to craft or have the materials to do so as for people actually using the bug to unlock stuff these players have 6 hours a day invested into the game probably 3 or 4 barriers off of already unlocking this stuff, they skipped ahead of 3 weeks of grinding most of us see end game as the reward for you doing your chores.. play the way bungie wants you to play and its boring

12 отв.I know a lot of people are yelling at you because they're bad at video games, but you're not wrong. People just don't want to hear it. Is an emblem/title/shader the most important thing in life? Obviously not. But prior to this weekend if you had a solo flawless emblem, it was like oh that's cool. Now it's just nothing. I'm glad they let people have fun. This is just an adverse side effect.

1 ответI understand your concern about the integrity of endgame content in Destiny 2 being compromised by glitches. Achieving challenging triumphs like solo flawless dungeons and raids is indeed meant to be a testament to a player's skill and dedication. It's great that you're willing to help others learn raid mechanics and encourage them to step out of their comfort zones. Glitches can be frustrating because they undermine the sense of accomplishment. Many players value the challenge and reward of overcoming tough content legitimately. It's essential for game developers to address such issues promptly to maintain the overall balance and integrity of the game. Hopefully, Bungie, the developer of Destiny 2, will take steps to address these glitches and ensure that players can continue to enjoy the endgame content as intended. Happy gaming!

I do agree, the glitch can be seen as devaluing the hard won achievements to solo flawless everything. But all considering the number of people who pay for those things, or cheat for those things, carried for those things, and so on, that go unchecked and are part of the system. This glitched weekend simply made a new time for speedrunners, the infamous "Glitched gun speedrun". Dont get me wrong, brave to all those who did this prior to the weekend and wear their badge with blood sweat and tears, but at the end of the day, the achievement would be only yours to bear, as its impossible without a title or something that will allow others to know the things you have done, and than to also be aware of what the title entails. Thats my 2 cents

Those people barely play anyway, and when they get in your raid team and have no idea what’s going on only to be kicked… they’ll sit in orbit and complain about banning people who kick them for not knowing or attempting to learn🙄😂. This community is truly amazing with its ignorance

Изменено (Hawpy): 9/17/2023 8:20:52 PMI fully agree with this sentiment, but it's getting downvoted everywhere. Unfortunately, there are people who see this as elitism and being upset that other players get the same rewards and accomplishments as the top players. Of course, that isn't so. For the kind of context that illustrates our case, Crota's End flawless completions have gone up 70% since Friday. It seems like doing a server rollback was never on the table, but I really think they should have disabled all Raid and Dungeon Triumphs as soon as word of the exploit got around.

2 отв.Just remember, people will always take the shortcut over the hard work any chance they Get, in real life or in video games. We see this with recovs, paid titles, and exploits or cheesing encounters. The amount of rationalization going on among people on the forums to justify the exploit is honestly silly. Regardless of wether bungie sactioned the exploit or not, the selfishness of all exploiters for their own benefit despite ruining the game for others is crazy. Selfishness in its pure form. But go ahead. You enjoy it. You can play while others cannot.

Wanna know the best part ? It’s still not fixed so I’d say us glitch users are just getting started so grab your box of tissues 🫡

op isn't wrong about the achievements. These guns did trivialize many of the achievements in the game. Some may not have taken advantage while others chose too which is a personal choice however, to use these guns is exploitation and lessens the achievement for all. If you had fun and it was worth it, that is the up to each individual.

shouldn’t worry about it too much, the skill issues are back now that the one man pocket-execution-squad -deletion-rifles are gone lol

3 отв.Изменено (Shockwave 989): 9/18/2023 11:59:21 AMIf anyone really cares about egoing these accomplishments then someone can rather easily just check the date it was accomplished and extrapolate from that. Me personally, I used the glitch to go back and get my Flawless Legend Defiant Battleground by soloing it. Nice and easy clean up instead of trying to wrangle people into doing it. Survivability was still an issue (mainly due to delayed Devour procs) and took several attempts, but it worked out. I didn’t go chasing my Crota Flawless because at the end of the day I don’t care about the Shader or the tag. I care about knowing that I was capable of doing that. You also never know, having a crucial barrier lifted in the form of loadouts might have actually gotten some of the more casual players to actually get into raiding, or attempting solo Flawless dungeons. And you know what? Good for them. I hope they now have the motivation to gear up and take those challenges on for real.

1 ответSince when do I care about a strangers personal achievements in a video game? It affects me how?

This is the saddest post on the Internet 🤣

I say let folks go ham. At the end of day no one is looking at your emblem or title and nobody actually cares but yourself.
