So warlocks are left with a couple viable exotics
These buffs are trash considering you just nerfed our best PVE exotic. Oh yeah, also nerfed our best PvP exotic as well.

Warlocks only really good damage super for bossing is Chaos Reach and it’s damage sucks. Because of that, well is really the only viable Warlock super and it’s a detriment to have more than 1 or at most 2 Warlocks in a group. We need class parity. Bubble needs to be as viable as Well. All classes need damage supers as good as Hunter and all classes need support supers. We have a pseudo-classless system that isn’t supposed to pigeon hole people into specific roles but that’s exactly what’s happened.

1 ответI can name more than a couple of Exotics that are viable in high-end PvE. Felwinter's Helm, Fallen Sunstar, Sunbracers, Karnstein Armlets, Contraverse Hold, Necrotic Grip, Osmiomancy Gloves, Phoenix Protocol, Secant Filaments, Rain of Fire and Swarmers. After the buffs, don't be surprised if Chromatic Fire and Dawn Chorus are in there too. Starfire is fully deserving of a long-overdue nerf. Not only is it absurdly powerful, it's [i]boring[/i].

Ophidians got nerfed but nobody was using them for the melee range. They still do exactly what they've always done

7 отв.Изменено (The Hermit IX): 5/11/2023 3:32:19 AMI use Battle Harmony on a few builds and knew they would nerf the stacking with surge mods. On Strand it was broken with Quick Silver and the MG. At least they made it better on its own so I can’t complain. I will still use Ophidians in PVP. 33% buff to both reload, handling, faster aim down sights and better in air makes it worth using. Dawn Chorus change looks really good too. Starfire was broken so everyone knew it was going to get nerfed. Chromatic looks like it may be really good too. We have a lot of strong exotics even without the new buffs.

1 ответNot surprised on the Starfire Protocol nerf. It was coming for a couple of seasons, but that was way too hard. I have a bigger issue with the Ophidian nerf. Warlocks are already the least played class in PVP and they have 2 exotics with decent neutral game play. They nerf 1 of the 2 into the ground. These developers obviously don't play this game and definitely didn't play D1. Bungie nerfed the Warlock melee into the ground at the start of D2. Might as well not had arms. Ophidians just gave a little of that back. This is no where near the titan sliding 50 ft into a shoulder charge, or the 20ft lunge distance they have with knockout and synths. This is absolutely ridiculous and total trash. It's about time you listen to your community, not just streamers and numbers on a screen at Bungie.

I'm not too worried about the Starfire nerf and imo it really shouldn't affect any Warlock, we have probably the best subclasses and kit for most Encounters in PvE (including a big selection of Exotics that cater towards PvE). PvP though, We practically rely on like 2 (maybe 3 at max) Exotics, we're not in the worst state but I'd say we have arguably the weakest selection of Exotics for PvP.

None of the classes have a ton of good exotics. I'm not sure why you think Warlocks are being singled out.

2 отв.I personally use or play with other warlock mains who use: Sunbracers, controverse hold, nothing manacles, fallen sun star, crown of tempests, Phoenix protocol,osmiomancy, Nezerec’s sin, Necrotic grip, geomag stabilizers, get away artist, and claws of ahamkara. Yes on paper the nerf seems a bit harsh, but let’s not pretend that that was the only viable warlock exotic

5 отв.Learn to use your other exotics like many warlocks does. Starfire protocol will still allow you to spam nades. But only when killing ennemies. Warlocks mains are so dramatic...after all they had the balls to cry because they couldnt spam their nova bomb like a primary weapon anymore when they nerfed skull of dire ahamkarah. As for the ophidians, having pre-nerf quickdraw and auick reload on every weapon is what really made these gauntlets strong in pvp.

Id rather use a build that relys on my Well and my Heir Apparent... I get my super quick then pop and lay waste like the Terminator in Judgement day.. Super back almost immediately.. I like crowd control and killing many enemies vs the single target.. Thats what my other guns are for. Plus, Starfire only changed the 20% to weapon kills.. use Jotuun or a demolish gun and you get your grenade back quick as well. Grenade build for me is Void Hold Build.. over all its just superior.
