I know there are a lot of issues with trials right now but what I want to bring attention to is the fact that you can play just to get rewards, not trying to go Flawless and still match with people who are on Flawless game with a Flawless Passage. There is almost nothing more demoralizing and making me want to stop playing than seeing after every match seeing your opponent's team granted a Flawless passage when you've had a flawed passage for the last hour and a half and are just trying to get to seven wins.
-
I'm convinced at this point that anything matchmaking is just ran by a 50/50 win loss rate and nothing else. Card based, Sbmm or cbmm is just a lie.
-
Card matchmaking takes into account games played not wins. So an 0-7 card can be matched a w 7-0 card.

12 отв.I was just coming here to offer some feedback on my experience with Trials tonight. Saw this post and instead of creating another, though I should just add to this one. Queued up a few games, lost the first game, won the second and got absolutely wrecked on the 3rd game. By wrecked I mean annihilated beyond belief. The game was so mismatched it actually helped me decided to stay out of Trials from now on. I don’t mind losing but that last game was over just as fast as it started. Seemed a bit unfair to put players who already had Flawless (which I’ve never even been close to) against players who obviously had little experience. But my feedback is this, don’t pin new to Trials players against Flawless premade teams. That is a sure quick way to run new players off. Which it did. To solve this, first, stop forcing your pve community into pvp and stop forcing your solo community into group content. (Yeah yeah, MMO whatever) These triumphs should maybe be one or the other and since PVE is easier perhaps make that option require a bit more than the pvp side. I have a whole other feedback frustration I’m going to post about regarding solo vs group content. (Again, I get it, it’s an MMO).

2 отв.I disagree. I played 2 cards on console and one on pc and found it far more enjoyable than usual.

Working as intended because its poop

This whole game is bad

What I don't like is that the snipers are out in force. And even though that's much better than fusion rifles if I haven't been using a sniper and want to practice using one, where am I supposed to do that and have one work consistently so I can get a feel for how to use it?
-
The whole mode is a dumpster fire now. Nothing but recoveries and neck beards. Non stop crutch of the abilities.

7 отв.
Trials is a dead game mode. The skill difference is so massive that 90% of games end 1v5 or 0v5. And this is even when top players face each other. Most fps games a player with a 1.0 can face a 1.2-1.5 and win 2 out of 5 engagements. That’s a 40% win ratio. In destiny a 1.0 player will lose 9/10 engagements to a 1.1 player, or a 10% win ratio. A skill difference of 0.1 is massive in this game and it’s the only game I’ve ever seen it like this. To the point that game modes like trials is completely pointless to even try if ur not minimum top 10% or u have someone in the top 10% to carry you. And we will see the same thing in cop probably starting in platinum and becoming mandatory in adept.

1 ответThe only way to win Trials is not to play. Works for me
-
9 отв.It’s not a matchmaking issue. The player pool is diluted due to bad weapons, ugly armour, no freelance, etc. back when 120s were op everyone wanted the igneous, so everyone was playing trials. Now the only people in trials are the ones who love it.
-
Saying it feels bad implies it ever felt good. Trials was always a self cannibalizing shithole and always will be. There's a reason it's full of paid recovs/carries and streamer carries.
-
Sorry to say something so blunt, but it needs people like you who are just grinding out rewards to get stomped to survive. The 7 win flawless system never made sense and Bungie's been chasing their tail trying to make it work ever since. They tabled Trials because it failed and brought it back pretty much the same. They didn't add a solo queue to be nice, it was because Trials was dying again.
-
15 отв.Rewards need a revamp 7 wins 0 losses should grant access to the lighthouse 10 wins any amount of losses should make the weekly adept weapon drop Remove flawless pool and make lighthouse drop more cosmetics
-
3 отв.I'm trying to understand the logic in turning off "flawless pool" this weekend. Doesn't that pretty much guarantee only the sweat lords will get role after role of the adept? It's unplayable. Every team I have matched today which is my first day all week, has the adept gun.
-
I played 5 matches all with different teams. Every. Single. Player. Was running DMT and a shotgun. Every single one. I cant even attempt to sniper without getting prefired by a full team insta kill... Its stupid, unfun and unfair. 10 resil sliding/dodging/backflipping/thrusting you name it, it doesnt matter. Dmt literaly cannot miss.

its really bad, im a good pvp player with a 1.5-2.0 kd through out a season in regular pvp but i have a .98kd in trials rn, i have been flawless 10 times and 5 of those were in the first season of the revamped trials, today i went against a team with one player that was in the top 2.8% in trials and the other in the 3.9% of the world, together they had almost 500 flawless games. why am i playing against people like that.
-
Don't play solo and expect to win
-
Currently their is no flawless pool so it’s a terrible experience if you want to try and go flawless it’s back to before the rework
-
6 отв.Have you maybe considered that trials is a massive waste of time. The weapons are mid, it’s less rewarding, and the armor is ugly.
-
4 отв.Matchmaking works mostly fine I think. I believe the real issue is low player pools so you’re only matching with neck beard sweat lords
-
1 ответOn PC there are quite a lot of people running wall hacks or other kinds of subtle cheats to get advantages. (I think I counted 13 so far). Meta is also way to damn slow, its a peak fest and you have to teamshot to see anykind of success. Flawless already teams are a scourge and farming the start of trials cards now so its making it extra hard just to get past 1 win.
-
2 отв.I play solo but I realize Trails was designed for teams to fight out for who's the best. That's why it doesn't sit well with solo players. I only play when new weapons are available or freelance is in rotation. I would like a freelance always will it happen. I think not because the player pool would be to small for teams with longer match times.
-
I’ve been having fun with it so far this weekend, idk
-
2 отв.Then wait for the flawless pool and stop crying

Trials: if you don’t get the first shot then run away and try again from a different corner when your health replenished
