- No Exotic Armour
- Cool stuff in the micro transaction store as per usual
- Drip-fed predictable story that slowly and painfully unravels like all the rest.
- A stupidly easy seasonal activity that could be used as a way to fall asleep.
- A dungeon that has been sliced off and is additional PAID content.
- Re-used warmind weapons and assets.
Sitting this one out and waiting for reviews for Lightfall. What a joke.

1 ответ
What a joke.
It is a joke! 40 dollars per year on empty seasonal content. LMAO!!! That’s what I call laughable. The very essence of a milking cow. LMAO!!! Wake up people. It’s been like this for over a couple years now since Activision left this game in the dumpster. If you are still here since then, you’re probably leaking money because they are milking it out of you. LMAO!!! You’re farming and they’re farming you. LMAO!!! You know what cows do when they’re being milked? …nothing. They just stand there. LMAO!!! Don’t be a cow.

2 отв.Sad but true. Of my 200 plus member friends and clan lists, 3 are currently logged in at the game.

9 отв.Literally everyone complains about re-skinned and re-hashed content, so Bungie gives us the Super-bowl of re-skins. Everyone complains about IB rift, that it’s not fun and way too long, so Bungie puts it in comp and makes it even longer by forcing you to get to 5 regardless if you’re up 4-0. It’s like they take one step forward and 5 steps back. Honestly it’s just comical at this point.

Cancelled my preorder. This is gonna be the last season I play. It just doesn’t excite me the way it did before I miss how popular D1 was
-
Yep, first time I haven't pre-ordered a DLC. Seasonal content is mostly recycled from paid content they removed from the game during sunsetting. And the artifact that gives you level bonuses and mods that fit the latest meta is only available for people that buy this boring, recycled, time-gated content.

Wait no exotic armor? DAMN this game sucks 😂😂😂

154 отв.Изменено (TheArtist): 12/7/2022 3:59:36 PM1. The armory is already bloated with 5 years of exotic armor. Most of which we don’t use. 2. All of which is cosmetic and none of which impact game play. 3. Would you prefer that there be NOTHING to do but holiday events between yearly expansions? Because that the only alternative to the seasonal model. 4. The game isn’t made for just you. So the activity has to meet the needs of a large number of people. 5. Yes. Because it is not a part of the season itself. What do you think your $5 (probably less, let’s be honest) you’re paying per month to play this game entitles you to??? 6. Yes. Because a vocal part of the player base asked for it back… and with the return of the Leviathan, this really shouldn’t be a surprise. See point 5. 7. Goodbye and Goodluck. This is what seasonal content has always been. A bit more of Destiny to tide us over until the next big expansion. What made you think that it would jump up one day and suddenly become something dramatically different?
-
This was just a quick cash grab before a major dlc and seemingly intentional. They've done this multiple times. It's pretty dirty.
-
It’s tough when the game you enjoy/enjoyed is less fun to play. That’s basically the way it is at this time. Good call tapping out for now. There’s nothing wrong with taking a break and getting off the hamster wheel.
-
I think we all learned something Tuesday. When Bungie doesn't want to release a trailer until the day of, it's for a reason haha. I was going to skip out on Lightfall, but I think I'm going to skip the seasons instead. Just play the yearly expansions. Seems to be where the best content is anyway.

20 отв.Game is about to die for real. Destiny 2 is effectively over.

Plus regrind light level every 3 months for........ reasons 🙄

Bungie in a nutshell, stale, outdated, lazy.
-
Exotic armor is coming this season it’s classified in database. Maybe tied to dungeon.

6 отв.Изменено (Grim): 12/7/2022 10:30:38 PMRead somewhere that bungie is planning on changing the seasonal model up a bit in lightfall but it won't be on release it'll likely happen towards the end of lightfall closer to the final season. Either way I saw this coming from a mile away the game is stuck in a loop and its slowly dragging along. While bungie is trying to save it they'll only do so after they milk it for all its worth. Either way the armor this season is crazy and I love it and the dungeon armor looks cool too its got cowboy hats for all classes and I'm all for that so who cares. Imma get my moneys worth and get all that sweet armor this season from all sources and then quit till lightfall.

Haven't even logged in today

1 ответUnfortunately I have already bought this season with the Witch Queen Deluxe Edition. I am already regretting it. I would ask for a refund if there were such an option. I have been feeling increasingly disappointed with the direction this company has taken over the last few years, especially when they announced their 'sunsetting' and, later on, their 'vaulting' system. And all the rest that has come afterwards it's been a total let down. So I had very low expectations when I logged in yesterday to see what the season was about. And after I saw that it was, once again, recycled content, I logged out in disgust and stayed away. The recent trend of asking for extra $$ for new dungeons, packages like the 30th Anniversary, and part of the special event's content is infuriating, considering how little we get for the money. I am not gonna put another penny into this game. Not for dungeons, nor for any future releases/seasons/packages or whatever else they concoct to leech players. As for Eververse, since its inception in D1, I made a point NEVER to spend any money into that store. And I never did. EVER. That's how much I've despised it all these years. Bungie's current business model is paid releases with recycled/reskinned content. After you play a little with it, they take it away (vaulting or sunsetting or nerfing whatever you have grinded over innumerable hours). Basically, they keep 'vaulting' and 'un-vaulting' the same content with each 'new' season, round and round in a never-ending cycle where they keep the money flowing without having to create anything new (except for the Eververse store of course). Not to mention the 'nerfs', the 'bugs', and the PVP mess which would require an entire chapter of their own. My patience with this franchise is at an end. I feel only disgust and regret. I used to love this game and I had played it a lot over the years! I have always given Bungie the benefit of the doubt, even when they messed up and screwed their player base on many occasions. I've always believed that they would do better next time and I kept purchasing new releases and season passes. From D1 all the way until now. NOT ANYMORE. My good will is over. There comes a time when GREED is too much even for an affectionate fan such as I used to be. I feel sad. Destiny has been a great game for me. I truly loved it. But all good things come to an end. Time to move on. No more money from me, Bungie. You have screwed up for the last time. I'll come back and play every now and then, whatever is available for free. Other than that, I am done.

7 отв.Изменено (堺市 Rinzler (PRIMARCH)): 12/7/2022 4:11:24 PMYup, and quite literally the only people defending this as per usual are the bungie simps... The old excuse was the game is f2p, so they have to raise prices for dlc. But they're making WAY more than they used to, and we're getting FAR LESS both in quantity and quality. Theres no defending this.
-
Bungie used to be one of the best developers around, but these days I wouldn’t even put them in the top 100. Poor decisions, poor marketing, terrible seasonal content. Honestly don’t know how anyone genuinely has fun with this dumpster fire of a game, and this is coming from someone that used to love the hell out of Destiny. *sighs*

1 ответI will say I do prefer the new battlegrounds over ketchcrash but would have preferred something actually new I can understand them reskinning the ikelos weapons because it was a pretty common request to get updated versions of the ikelos/seraph weapons for awhile, although not my preference personally. Seasons ok, nothing special and likely won't hold many peoples interest but it's about what I expected at this point (which is unfortunate that my expectations are so low its "I guess it's better than the last activity")

28 отв.
- Cool stuff in the micro transaction store as per usual
They want $20 for a crappy Assassin's Creed armor set. $60 if you want all three. These are no longer "micro-transactions"..... They are "macro-transactions". Bungie is milking their base for as much as they can get while putting in almost zero effort for the content to respect the players' time and investment.

1 ответWhen I logged in, I thought It hadn't updated. There's no change and feels exactly the same season as before. Same grindy stuff to rng chase. Afraid it's going to be a Tuesday reset drop in and do a few pinnacles. Then back to God Of War Has anyone tried The Calisto Protocol yet

Same here. I’m not even going to anything for this season after getting the machine gun pattern and the DSC sniper and shotgun patterns then I’ll be waiting for lightfall
