I get that doing so is meant to build suspense and create a sense of urgency regarding the story going into the expansion, but it leaves no real time to deal with potential bugs. I don’t think it’s significant enough to be worth doing this way.

4 отв.I knew 1,000,000% that this was absolutely guaranteed going to happen. You gotta hand it to Bungie they sure are consistent at fucking up
I don’t think it’s significant enough to be worth doing this way.
They spent more time making a scripted cringey vidoc for WQ than the buggy end of season content. 😂😂😂

2 отв.Bungie replied: "but, but how should we stretch our non existing content to make you come back EVERY SINGLE DAMN WEEK for drip fed bits of seasonal story then???" We gotta satisfy our shareholders. Shareholders need to be satisfied desperately with every single decision we make. Please don't stop running our well built hamster wheel guys, we need our player numbers to be up AT ALL TIMES!!! Artificial grind it is :) Thank you for being such a great community guardians, you are the best :) Keep the feedback flowing guys :) We will pass it along the team for sure guys :) See you next week for witch queen, can't wait, so excited (you'll be able to play new content up until a cliff hanger after 12 hours, then you will have to wait for the next week for more content) :) Make sure to be there it's gonna be awesome guardians :)

2 отв.Congratulations to Sony on their purchase lol. Same experience for me and I'm not bothering to keep trying until fixed.

11 отв.Overreaction. It’s fine as is. It was delayed due to Covid. Had Covid not happened, in theory there shouldn’t have been any delays and we would not have had the 4 month pve content drought. This weekly update was meant to be the final week so there’s continuity in the seasons. The alternative to weekly content drops (including your suggestion) is to have all of the story content per season/dlc released at season launch. And they aren’t doing that. in a live service game, you should expect some content to be on specific days/weeks of the season. My main feedback for this season finale is that they should never allow 1 person of a fireteam to skip the cutscenes for everyone. They should have a voting type system where if the majority of the team elects to skip, then sure (or the full team agrees to skip, whichever is acceptable). Delivering content with next to no bugs, issues, or massive queues should be a much bigger priority as opposed to “when” it drops as long as the content comes when advertised. And I’m pretty sure they have something called “season roadmaps” that should help.

This was a mission? I thought it was another stage for astral alignment to be honest
-
Not where I thought the title would take it but pragmatic nonetheless
-
5 отв.I mean, who cares? The "story" in this game is about 3rd grade level morning cartoon nonsense. The cutscenes themselves are sophomoric.
-
What I love is that I've done the Exorcism three times. The mission didn't freeze because of the bridge. The cutscene played to completion. There were literally NO issues caused by players any of the three times and, yet, the quest step never updated. This is something they've never addressed, either. They only have addressed the bridge-skip or the cutscene-skip issues. It's almost like they act that just playing the mission fully without either of those problems taking place still causes a progression bug doesn't even exist. Like they're ignoring that one. Seriously, where is the QA with this game anymore? It really does feel non-existent since... Hmm...since something happened... Wonder what it was. Hmmmmm....
-
It should have came before any witch queen promo. Hell even the title spoiled the ending. Having this ages earlier makes no impact on the story or continuity.
-
Please….they’ll do it again with the next expansion next year.

4 отв.Изменено (TIME_4_A_WIN): 2/16/2022 7:09:39 PMThe cut scenes were a bit of a disappointment, but the 6 player activity was actually quite good fun. However I see little point in an activity which you can only run once per character. Why spend time developing a new location with little story behind it. Here’s my thoughts… An opening trailer at the start of the new activity to gauge peoples interest would have been a great opening, then the playable mission and then a final cut scene. But you have us jump from destination to destinations what’s the point? Less than a week away, bring on the hype!!! See you out there guardians.

1 ответWaited 4 extra months for a 30 sec underwhelming cut scene that's Bugged. WTH Bungie 😩
-
I think it would be a good idea to do it 2-3 weeks before the new expansion but its not really a big deal.
-
To be honest it's seems from the bugs that they didn't account for people who want to just rush through it.
-
hey shut up
-
5 отв.Given that at the end:
Savathun escapes and nobody knows where she went, and we’re told to prepare for what’s to come or something similar.
I see absolutely no reason why they waited until the last week.
-
It was just a beat on their 'hype-train'. The meter is steadily going faster... It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, or even works, hype is hype! I didn't like the vevo Destiny song trailer beat (launch trailer) or this story beat. And I've seen nothing official here on the forums. Or have I missed the official CM, or BUNGIE response on these official forums? I find it fascinating, the managers are growing, going teams, cashing in like the own the brass ring, but here's the thing... If its controversy, or a cry of mediocrity- not the teeniest peep, retort, or hippy. Oh, but I -blam!- they tweet, the mis-mangers of this community. (Now that was a good show.)

More like Season of the Lost (Interest) I’ve played public events that were more exciting than that “mission”
-
1 ответFor waiting what 4 months this was super underwhelming
-
So I was right they were deceptive about “removing FOMO” and they waited till the last week for peak FOMO? Lol 😂 It’s actually sad and depressing when you think it 😞
-
Изменено (karrina): 2/16/2022 7:32:08 PMI’m still baffled why there’s no public test realm. By random invite only for Guardians that sign up for it. Players (not your employees) find the bugs and exploits. They had months to figure this out. WQ problems are making me nervous.
-
Tbh the final mission is awesome but even not considering bugs it was a big let down and really doesn’t connect the season to witch queen
-
but but but suspense for the next DLC we already advertised spoiling how this season ends!
