Mythoclast Drop rate is Disrespectful towards the community
I am now at my 19th clear of VoG.
I did my sherpa runs, saw a new light drop it at the second clear.
In my clan we have people with 85 runs, 52 runs, and a bunch of people approaching the 20th run.
Now I have a total cumulative time of 22hrs in vault of glass, In my line of work that is worth the equivalent of 360 USD, so where is my reward Bungo?
It is clear that there is no BLP regarding this drop because the dude at 82 runs, using the 3%+0.5%x(n*runs) he should have a ~83% Drop chance out of three runs.
If you just consider the 3% without BLP out of 82 runs you have a 92% theoretical drop chance.
This is plain ridicolousness, the exotic is out since last year, and nothing has been modified in the drops.
Bungie didn't even bother to be sure that the drop doesn't go to someone that ALREADY have it.
Me and my clan are honestly drained by the experience, we meet every tuesday, at reset, we fly through the raid.
And we are disappointed. Every. Single. Time.

Theorethical because of RNG there is a change to get it first run, every run or never. (Pure theorethical)

Its like that in alot of games. Vex needs the bad luck protection put on it imo. It took me 47 runs to get it. I was totally over it at 25 lol. I was happy that i got Eyes of Tomorrow on my first run though, RNGesus is just like that sometimes.

2 отв.RNG raid exotics are a disrespect to the community. Luck doesn't equate to skill and effort. You can flawless raid after raid and still get no drop. That's just bad game design plain and simple. It's also the reason why I don't raid in this game. I raided for Malice and OG Outbreak. I won't waste my time running so many raids for nothing.

If you're unlucky, maybe don't play games with RNG, especially if you are sensitive to not getting what you want? Bungie has already stated that they are developing for hardcore players, so maybe if you aren't ready for long grinds, maybe destiny isn't for you? Just do what I do, wait for Bungie to increase the drop rate and/or make the raid farmable for more than 3 times a week?

4 отв.Coming from somebody who has gotten 3 vex drops, this is why raid exotics should be tied to quests. It’s not fun getting the raid exotic knowing that multiple people on your team still don’t have it after 50+ runs. I’m sure it feels even worse to be one of those unlucky people.

VoG doesn't have bad luck protection...yet. Even still 19 clears is just the tip of the iceberg. It has nothing to do with Bungie so asking them to get it together is rather self-righteous of you. Their only job is to enter coding, with the most recent raid having BLP being DSC. There are people who get it on their first run, there are people who take over 100, you are no more special than they are. Your only option is to sit here and whine about it, or keep running it until you get it. It's not a difficult raid and it's RNG for a reason. You have no more right to complain about it than you do to complain to your state lottery about you not winning the jackpot

13 отв.Take a break. 1. Bungie manipulates the drop rates based on how often we play. They admit to it. 2. Their goal is not to reward you for your time, but to keep you playing. So who's to say that they aren't increasing the drop rates for infrequent players in order to entice them to play more often ("Here's a taste of the good stuff). As well as REDUCING the drop rate for people who are dedicated players. What better way to keep you playing the raid than to turn the most desired loot item into a White Whale that you just cant' manage to catch? Take a break from regular raiding. Then come back when you aren't so angry and frustrated. At a minimum you'll get some peace of mind back, and a better mood. But I'm betting that the game will stop seeing you as a hardcore grinder....and soften those drop rates back to something more reasonable. ([i]Eighty-five runs[/i]? Seriously??? What else does he do with himself??)

2 отв.It‘s reasonable to be frustrated about it. Although I‘m not an expert, but I think you should challenge the thought that you feel disrespected by a loot mechanic in a video game.
