Is it too much to ask to have actual gun fights?
Playing IB. Granted my team was terrible and most of the time I was fighting 3 guys (different problem), but I was shoulder charged, killed by chaining arc damage, witherhoarded, and finally killed by arc damage again after killing 2 guys. None of these were caused by a gun and the shoulder charge went right through my shotgun blast and he lived. Crazy that a shoulder charge is more consistent than a SG. Tried playing a light Hunter class and just keep getting frozen or shatter dive killed. I’m still getting plenty of kills but it’s just not fun at all

Hit registration is garbage and shoulder charge is no exception to it, stop standing in the pool of death.

Why do people cry about things the game is literally based around. Go play a more “realistic” FPS then Something is wrong with y’all brains.

3 отв.People don’t mind Gun fights, they just don’t want it to last long enough to turn into a duel. They want everything to be a 1-shot for the kill, and the less they have to aim to the better.

We had gunfights in year 1. People didnt like it.

If you want gun fights play cod. It's what I do when I have the urge to play pvp.

1 ответIf your looking for just gunfights I’m not sure why your playing this game. There’s plenty of FPS games out there that are guns only.

All they know is OHK abilities, teamshooting and META and it is Bungie to blame for allowing players to become this spoiled and lazy. I remember when players would run the whole map alone trying to create hero moments, now players simply watch all the streamers on how to play casually tryhardish with mechanics mentioned above. I miss D1 gunplay so much.

PvP players have made “one-shot-kill” Loadouts a masterpiece. Nobody in there wants a gun fight. You either too lazy to learn all the one shot mechanics, or you just started playing Destiny. I choose the hard way. I love a good dog fight. I get my kills eventually but I’m in no way a threat in the Crucible.

18 отв.This isn't cod, battlefield, or gears of war. This game has space magic and that magic is incorporated in every gun in the game. You're 7yrs too late to be complaining about that fact buddy.

2 отв.From what I’ve experienced, people are afraid to have a gun fight. My fav, is the dude who is losing the gunfight and has to solo super you.....,.and still misses.

I've got a grenade/rift arc soul build... does that count? It shoots at least. Lol But seriously a shoot out mode (with hand cannons only) could be a fun mode. Excellent for trials actually. Ill add a suggestion in that forum. #trials #feedback

Weapon damage is buffed so high it doesn't make sense to use anything other than your weapons. It would be nice though, to see a new game mode where abilities and supers are deactivated.

3 отв.6s are a cheese fest. I won’t play unless for pinnacles until they tone down the spam and focus more on having primary gun fights. And if they don’t? That’s fine. I’ll just stick to Trials as long as it plays good and play Halo Infinite when it comes out. It is what it is at this point.
