Destiny has had a great community for years and a lot of the discussions in the forums are actually towards fixing problems. But recently all I’ve seen is crying and whining about things that are pointless to cry about. PvP: PvP is honestly in a pretty solid place right now, especially after stasis nerf. Stasis is still very viable and can be S tier when used properly, it’s just no longer a free kill simulator. HCs are annoying but I love them, they are also easily countered by pulse rifles, snipers, some scouts and autos. And the range nerf on 120s will hopefully fix some of the problems with hand cannons sometimes being too strong range wise. When it comes to supers I’d say all supers are in a good spot right now, chaos reach shouldn’t have the exotic where you get half of it back imo but it is also a very viable strat because you’re using your exotic slot for just that purpose alone. Chaos just needs work on clipping through walls sometimes still. The forums are just a mess of people screaming at each other say this sucks, this needs a nerf, buff this, etc. in reality the player can make any load out OP when played properly. What we have is a community of cry babies who don’t like it when they have to actually work to get better at the game. They want easy free kills so they can feel good about their gameplay without actually having to put in the effort like other players. The forums: Holy..... the forums is a mess rn man. There is so much hatred and anger going on in the forums and it’s so sad to see. We are all a community and how is it solving anything when you reply to a post just to be an asshole. First, stop making dumb posts about nerds and buffs when you don’t really know what you’re talking about. Second, stop responding to these posts with hate and correct the creator on why their idea may or may not work and how you can improve the experience for them. Development and updates: All I keep seeing is hatred towards bungie for every little thing they do. This game is extremely hard to develop, with the amount of content they put out and at the rate they do is extremely impressive. They work everyday to ensure we get new content and it’s content we enjoy. Sometimes they miss and sometimes they hit. You can’t have the perfect dlc that makes everyone happy every time. They’re people just like us that love the game just as much as we do. Do I believe they should have a larger group focusing on curcible, yes, but I also understand the lack of working resources on their end for that. The only thing that I find unacceptable is the lack of anti cheat. That needs to be addressed and soon, but besides that bungie is doing a great job pushing content and updates to improve destiny everyday. We are all guardians, we need to start treating each other with more respect because at the end of the day we all love the game and want the best for it. Pushing people away from the community and the game won’t fix anything.
