Bungie is good at creating nice trailers to hype up the fanboy-evangelists.
So it will work like it has in the last years.
That's like an abusive relationship. You forgive all the beatings whenever you receive some kindness. Well, then you wake up on the floor of a trailer after getting knocked out yet again. Then you get a nice day at Disneyland and all is forgotten. "They" don't know him like you do, right?

No need for Bungie to try and hype up the fanboy-evangelists. We have already pre-ordered and have no need for fancy trailers. Those trailers are for people who are on the fence and/or don't really understand what a trailer is designed for.

Never felt like I was some kind of loyal praetorian. I simply enjoy the game for what I get out of it. No difference in me pre-ordering or waiting until reset on Nov. 10 to buy it other than an inconvenience of making sure I am sitting in front of the computer to make the purchase. I do think it's asinine to pre-order if a person is on the fence about it or simply falls for the hype thinking the expansion is going to be some magical game changer. Not only should those people not pre-order, they should wait at least two or three weeks and are what everybody is saying at that point. Let the hype die down and see the reality.

My work schedule is normally pretty crazy from early Sept. until early Jan. For me, it's simply a convenience. If I place the order early then I don't even have to think about it. It downloads when it's supposed to and if it happens while I'm working then I fire it up that evening and don't have to make the purchase, wait for it to download and install before being able to see what's new.
