Are you kidding me Bungie ? The entire community quest, was for a gun already in the season pass ?
Talk about a -blam!-ing piss take, as per usual Bungie has fantastic build up but a shittty and lacklustre payoff. Why can we not get a whisper level reward or atleast something new and not expecting ? But no you had to bait the entire community with a great challenge, only to blueball them with a gun already on the season pass that for all we know is going to be handed out anyway at the scheduled date.
It really should have been a brand new exotic, we were not expecting or a returning D1 exotic. There is gonna be backlash and it will be well justified, from the short but sweet devil's ruin quest to this BS long ass puzzle for a gun that was already coming, on the season pass. Why can you not find balance Bungie ?
You have no respect the communities time put in, this was literally a waste of time for anyone invloved, with no form of prestige or reward to show for it, pardon the pun.

110 отв.The whole point is that we used a time machine. To visit the future. And bring something back from it. The bastion quest is from the future, and it serves as both a cool way to ACTUALLY experience time travel in video game form, and with it being on the calendar, a nice way to avoid any kind of niobe labs situation. Step back from you're feelings for a second and think about what just happened, and how cool it is. The community came together as a force to solve nigh impossible odds, and that allowed us to actually travel through time. Like... I get the disappointment and gut reactions, but actually think about it for a minute and this concept is pretty damn cool. Gun still seems like garbage, but honestly that is irrelevant. Most gear is so underwhelming that I've become numb to that aspect. At least the quest was actually a neat experience that kept many of us on tenterhooks for nearly a week. Sad to see that cool experience immediately thrown in the trash because people aren't thinking and are instead reeeing with initial hot takes.

Cool quest and cool gun. Why they didn’t just say it was for early access to bastion I don’t know. Streamers made a lot of money from this so they would’ve done it either way. Also to say that our guardian was buried with their “favorite weapon” is way off.
