A pvp player who hates playing pvp currently... And here's why:
(Please note that this is purely from a console perspective and also my personal opinion)
- pinnacle weapons are dumb and need to be removed. (I personally have lunas recluse and revoker ) they only create imbalance and a wall new players can't climb.
-matchmaking sucks.
- special weapons are too powerful. Some literally act like power weapons at this point. Dusk rock erntil fr4 joton lord of wolves all these things are far too good and need to be adjusted but it's been forever since a balance sweep of pvp.
-snipers need slightly more flinch. sniping doesn't take as much skill as it should.
-Power ammo spawns far too frequently in every mode (if I die by truth one more time...*$&#!)
-Supers need to be brought in. Getting 3 a match is pretty dumb. And dawnblade and bottom tree striker need nerfs.
-some exotics ruin game balance like one-eyed mask for example.
-we need more pvp communication from Bungie and faster response on adjustments. (Looking at you Lord of wolves)
-and finally can we just have a freaking clash playlist!!!
None of this is meant to come from someone who angry just a long time fan who loves this game and wants pvp to be the best it can be. Me like I'm sure many fell in love with destiny for the pvp and right now it could be so much better.

Any more flinch on them now and no one would lay a finger on them. Why do you think shotguns are so common? Any other build usually only sees 1 per match. Thought I'd have another go at pvp, as I tend to focus on pve Did some quick play, ok not brilliant but not terrible Did some IB, didn't do too bad Trying for recluse, go into comp, on lvl guardian 1, and I'm met with Luna, erentil fr4, not forgotten etc 4 games in, and not won a single game. Soooooo makes me keep wanting to keep playing. Especially when my pulse rifle is out shot by crooked fang or a hand cannon Shotgun apes on every corner What a joke

Disagree with special weapons being OP; when D2 came out the absence of special weapons resulted in a team shotting lane camp fest. That was terrible. Right now my kills come 50/50 out of special vs kinetic. Its in a good place now.

You had me at everything until you said snipers need more flinch. I can habe enhanced unflinching sniper and still get tickled by an auto from a distance and see my reticle jump.

I agree with most of what you’re saying. I think competitive matchmaking is atrocious. Complete one sided matches, spawning in down a player or 2, and teams of 4 against a team of 4 randoms are examples of a poorly constructed matchmaking system. I don’t understand why Bungie doesn’t care about PVP in general and competitive in specific.

Yeah when I'm the only one trying to play like year one with a sniper in my hand in a game and everyone is running around with jotun/recluse. It's just garbo no skill pvp.

Dude, I have NF already, and totally concur with you...everything you said is true, so I'm not agreeing just to agree because I'm mad about not having a weapon, I got them all...but LoW and erentil are just stupid right now. Also, you're spot on about sniping lol. I was never a good sniper, all of a sudden, I can apparently snipe decently. I went to play D1 and had a much better time...takes more skill imo with the way they do eliminations

3 отв.Ya D2 pvp sucks. I’m a hunter main (trust me). Why is it that bungee can never figure this shit out. I’m tired of my shots not registering on the last word and I’m tired of dust rock blues, fusion rifles, and jotun. Like wtf were u thinking. Plus I’m getting really sick and tired of Titans. If I can be 1 hit out of my super by a sniper headshot, then so should they. D1 amazing, D2 probably one of the most unbalanced and shittiest games I’ve played in awhile. Like what even is the one eyed mask and why doesn’t every class have its own variant.

In my own opinion I’ll say this: 1. I 100% agree that heavy spawns way too often and frankly I am tired of seeing rockets fired from the truth all the time, 2. Special weapons are a joke; plain and simple. Shotguns virtually require no skill cause if you can tank shots and get close enough a shotgun can take you out completely from 15 ft away; sounds like the effectiveness of a heavy weapon which is what shotguns should have stayed in my opinion. As for snipers, I’m frankly tired of seeing them in crucible. There’s no reason for people to be able to just sit in a corner the whole match and trash a whole squad Example: I was in a match where the whole opposing team have snipers and shotguns in their first and second slots; guessing you understand how that went. Example 2: Just gonna day it...Lord Of Wolves needs a damned nerf. There’s no reason to see that flame on the end of the barrel from so far away and get destroyed without a second thought. 3. Pinnacle weapons have a place and personally if you’re good enough to get it then you deserve to use it in my mind. Now, I am aware however, there are people who can’t get the weapon on their own and have to get, either by paying someone or asking friends, to get them the weapon in which case yeah it’s kind of dumb.

There have been times where I hit someone directly and it either does very little to no damage which makes no sense. The only thing I could see them tuning down just a bit is the speed when your in the super. I feel like I’m going faster than sonic at times.

Dawn blade is fine....I have been killed out of it a ton. Pinnacles are fine....it gives you something to go after and most of them are not that great. People have PTSD from LH/NF but now LH is getting out gunned. Bottom tree striker and SB need to be brougt down a little bit. There needs to be more ways to shut down supers, not limmit them. Matching making needs to be better And the number one fix.....MAKE LARGER MAPS!!!!!!!!

Also I’d appreciate any nerf to shoulder charge but it is what it is One eyed mask provides too much of a buff, I shit u not I thought it was one of them D1 warlocks wit an overshield again... I’m still haunted Warlocks: Nerf their armor in stormtrance, if a hunter can be 1 hit headshot from a sniper out of spectral blades, so should they. Also wtf is the deal wit chaos reach. That shit is way too forgiving if u die. Usually you end up killing someone anyway, there’s no need to give them the super back if they die early Hunter: Nerf armor in blade barrage, reward the best shot, if I can get hits off on someone before they spam use it on me I should get the kill and they keep their super for another day. I think it should be used like nova bomb but for hunters anyway. Then buff the duration of golden gun. I can’t remember the last time I actually had time to shoot 6 shots Weapons: fusion rifle charge time nerf. If I’m getting cross mapped by an erental give me a chance to kill him at least. Some shotguns are way too good. Just a small range/dmg nerf on the top tier meta ones. And decrease the aim assist on some snipers like the beloved it turns me from fanboy to FaZe when I use it. -remove the jotun and lord of wolves, there is no need for these gun. It literally takes no skill. Nerf the range on pulse rifles slightly, I should be able to challenge with a sniper, nerf the rpm on sub machine guns or the dmg they make weapons like last word forgettable. Then on the topic of last word, y’all need to fix it. Idk if it’s just me, but 60% of my shots don’t register with that gun.
