So I’ve been playing D2 less and less now. Almost to the point of deleting hoping something or someone will save this game. I’ve pretty much done it all and as a main pvp player and crucible not getting love for almost a year it’s been rough.
After watching the vid doc about the new stuff coming to the game really made me lose hope. Bungie hasent been listening to their community at all with all these nerfs and updates that no one cared for implemented.
Everything you’ve done off the top of my head that no one wants:
- Eververse restock and UI update and more money grabbing - no one cared or wanted this, I haven’t seen a single forum post asking for this but you did it anyway.
- New enhancement core system - 90% of your community did not want this and we let you know, but you didn’t listen to the “discussion” and went ahead with your idea bc “Bungie knows best!”
- Nerf city on all our favorite and most used armor and weapons but 0 buffs or corrections to anything else - no one wanted this and we tried to offer other solutions and posts vetoing this idea. You did it anyway and no buffs.
- Finishing moves/executions - again I havent seen a single post asking for these and what good are they?
- Pursuits tab - we all hate it, it was perfectly fine where it was. Again we saw no one ask for this.
What you should be looking into:
- leveling is terrible - you’ve neglected this for a long time after we’ve voiced our opinions.
- crucible matchmaking is atrocious - we’ve asked for this fix for a long time.
- heavy ammo economy is atrocious - difficult time based encounters become RNG due to heavy drop rate.
- weapon tuning - some weapon types are insanely good and require minimal skill input for greater reward while other weapon types aren’t viable in any part of the game.
- super balancing - supers are too strong and last too long. They are get out of jail free cards and free kd padding right now.
- exotic reworks and fixes - 90% of the exotics in the game are not viable by any means and some are still bugged such as anteus wards. So you nerf the used ones so that we would use worse ones?
- CONSOLE LOAD SCREENS - it is impossible to change weapons between life’s in crucible and it takes for god damn ever to load character preview, new equipped items, new shaders, scrolling to mods and shaders tab and entering activities.
But hey, we get executions where we are 100% vulnerable.
Now you’re going free to play for almost all your content in the game. We know why you’re doing this. It has nothing to do with “we want easy entry for people to the D2 universe and cross save to play with your friends.” It’s because a storm is coming, Borderlands 3, and you want 0 excuses for anyone to not be playing your game when B3 comes out. To me, it seems like this might be your Hail Mary for your already dwindling player base. Have fun buying all your old guns and locations back that they are going to sell you with new dlc.

Srsly, no one will use Mechaner's Tricksleeves) Sounds to me like you just want to be mad bro, everyone else is stoked for Shadowkeep. But, whatever, your loss.

Add to this list the ridiculous requirements for the mountaintop quest.

1 ответI missed the part in the vidoc where they said none of what you mentioned is coming. Can you link it with a timestamp?

Let’s not forget EIGHT MONTHS of the same pvp meta

Well, the "final blows" addition is pretty lame and a MK/Doom ripoff, but the rest of your post is kind of a mishmash of ranting.

1 ответyou have no damn clue what this game is

At the end of the day your best option is to wait until after release before deciding to buy or not. Don’t get yourself all worked up about the failures D2 experienced as a whole. It is what it is. Wait for independent reviews and then decide if you’re willing to throw more money at your screen.

1 ответPlease dont say “we are sick of it” You do not speak for me. If you dont like the game. Theres an eject button on your console. Press it, put disc in case And return it to shop.

5 отв.You must not read the forums often. Several posts have been made about making eververse items direct purchases and not random loot boxes. This forum doesn't make up the whole player base, not even close, only about 1.4% of it in truth. So no matter what concerns or consensus this forum comes to, doesn't reflect overall player base. Weapon and armor tuning/buffs/nerfs have been a constant since D1 launched. Time to get used to the trend. The pursuit tab could use some tweaks, but isn't game breaking. Some of your wants/wish list items aren't too bad. But you have to remember, not everyone shares your opinions 100% of the time. So even if some do, some of the time, just because you don't feel like you are being heard, Bungie has addressed some of the things asked by the overall player base. You may not agree with the changes, but not everyone thinks the changes weren't, "enough," or weren't warranted.

This is a damn business and Bungie is self publishing they have every legal right to make money .

3 отв.I’m glad for the new additions to gear customization and story in general, but I have to admit, when I saw the finishing moves bit, I did think “huh...well, that’s a thing I guess.” Wouldn’t be high on my list as a necessary feature, but I’m sure someone will like it.
-
Say what you want, those finishing moves look dope.

Here's something a lot of people probably don't understand: Community raises an issue, game devs take note of issue, game devs look at importance of issue, game devs hold a meeting to see if said issue could/should be resolved, half dev team says no, half dev team says yes, but that half can't decide how to fix said issue, but it doesn't matter, the half that says no have equal say, so issue doesnt get fixed. Now, replace "issue" with feature, weapon, ability, etc. Now, you have an idea of how game development changes work. Bungie may or may not work like this, but if you go back to some early D1 interviews with Deej, he talks about raising the Glimmer cap, but the whole dev team has to agree on how/if to do it.
-
I'm getting more sick of these forum posts telling me what I like about the game than the damn problems I actually have with the game.
-
2 отв.Whisper nerf did nothing to restore challenge. @ me
-
4 отв.Okay then YOU go spend countless hours fixing this endless list that if changed causes other issues. Oh wait YOU don’t know anything about game development so STFU. The nerfs were necessary.
-
Damn! 8/10
-
2 отв.Haha this. Even if Bungie has an "altruistic" divination behind their intentions to make this game free to play, it will come with seriously sharp nylon cable strings attached. The fact is there is so much wrong with this game yet it would seem that Bungie's "solution" behind closed doors is to just make Destiny 3 great. And they wish to do this at the expense of treating Destiny 2 overall like a rotting fruit on the side.
