Bungie, what the hell? Why did you change Khepris into a pile of shit but keep Peregrine Greaves the same and buff Astrocyte? Please bring back the original perk for Khepris.
-
Just got this exotic today. I have to say, it is extremely underwhelming, especially when comparing it to Peregrine Greaves and Astrocyte. Khepri's Sting offers a gimmicky sort of utility at best--being able to occasionally give call-outs on enemy locations is certainly useful in a Comp. environment where a team is communicating with one another. The effect only lasts for several seconds, though, and doesn't really add much to Nightstalker subclasses that Spectral Blades doesn't already provide through Flawless Execution Kills (which offer a much longer Truesight buff + invisibility).
-
I've already said this on another post, but those should have been left out, and the Don't Touch Me arms should have been brought back instead. The D1 Khepris would have been horrible in PvP. Invis snipers, invis shotgunners, invis Blade Barrages, etc...you get the idea.

11 отв.Изменено (Mr Spooki Sack): 6/9/2019 2:15:01 AMYeah sure, let’s have Kepris sting allow you to go invisible in any class, so you can one shot kill anyone who walks by when you are sitting around a corner waiting for them to pass. Better yet, any Melee from behind is an instant kill. Sweeet... you literally CAN SEE THROUGH WALLS when in smoke. Use your smoke bomb and play with the f**king exotic. How do you think Titans feel about Anateus wards? Warlocks with Vesper Radius? Every class has Exotics they don’t like. But imagine me complaining about Armamentarium and how it won’t let me carry more Heavy ammo and calling it a “nerf”? nobody cares. You want to have a better Kephris Sting? Go play D1. This is D2, a new game, with new game modes, new rules, new maps, new mechanics. So they may have to tweak things a bit. It is perfectly fine. You already have so many PvP Exotic toys to choose from. Sorry this one disappointed you, but other people are doing just fine with it.
-
I was looking forward to this exotic and they made it unbelievably terrible. Astrocyte was trash in D1 so they brought it back amazing. Khepris was okay in D1 and they brought it back trash wtf
-
63 отв.No, hunters already have enough unfair exotics. You remember the gauntlet which increase the damage for melees? There you have yozr khepris sting perk.
-
I think they should’ve made a new exotic with that perk and brought the Khepris Sting the same. That was my main exotic in D1.
-
5 отв.LOL YOU HUNTERS NEVER QUIT
Bungie, what the hell? Why did you change Khepris into a pile of shit but keep Peregrine Greaves the same and buff Astrocyte? 3 отв.it’s actually so good imagine being able to line up your snipe down every choke point at the start of the game for free. i get first blood every game with it and it’s my favorite exotic for sniping
-
The only hunter exotic I use in PvP is stompees because everything else its not worth my time.
-
26 отв.Hunters still crying? I think hunters are the easiest to play. I play all 3 but on D2 I mostly play with titan and in D1 I play warlock.
-
2 отв.Do you have them? Do they slow the enemy that is in the smoke??
-
Oh how the turntables
In all seriousness it sucks they nerfed the other two. Would’ve been fun to see people kill Calus using Peregrines
-
1 ответИзменено (Dano2point0): 6/6/2019 2:45:19 PMWe have Liar's Handshake which is far better than anything Khepri's was in D1. I'm actually glad that they attempted to give Spectral Blades a melee based Exotic.
-
1 ответYeah see with the no longer having bladedancer they can only allow nightstalker to go invis. Crouching for 3 seconds to go invis was too op. So they had to use some dumbed down version of it where it was (ir)relevant. To be honest i didnt even care about the invis i was just hoping for for my 6x backstab damage. Granted you needed to be invisible for it to proc...

Astrocyte needed that buff. Although that doesn’t warrent the change of Khepris sting Exotic Perk
-
Got them tuesday after my first strike.. Not really happy w them.. Wore them till I got higher drops
-
3 отв.Well... Peregrine Greaves can’t be touched by mortal hands so those are going to stay the same. And come on, you have to admit the Verse seriously needed an update.
-
6 отв.Any opportunity to nerf hunters will be taken. You should know this by now. Tether still doesn’t work properly and hasn’t for years. Titans get a buff at every opportunity. Warlocks have it both ways. Oh wait, I forgot how stupid arc web is now.
-
While like all nerfs, it’s directed to hunters
Any. Way. Possible
-
3 отв.It also apparently breaks Forge batteries when meleeing someone with a full melee charge.
-
3 отв.Mtsashed review says it best.... Worst exotic in the game. https://youtu.be/NlYWhk6PGAs

Hunter exotics have been underwhelming for a long time. I main a hunter since D1 and switched to a warlock on a whim some months ago. I may never go back, tbh. Better air movement, better exotics, more utility for class abilities, etc.
-
17 отв.Изменено (ReVenant): 6/6/2019 3:29:14 PMThese Exotic Gauntlets are absolute steaming hot garbage. A true insult to Hunters tbh, especially when you compare them to what the Titan's and Warlocks received with their returning exotics..... This is how I think the conversation at Bungie went when making these Gauntlets: Forum Moderator: "Wow, looks like the player-base is calling Mechaneer's Tricksleeves the worst Hunter Exotic in the game!" Bungie Dev: "Hold my beer." ...at least we can shard them...I guess?? So technically, they're worth someeething....

This one sure sucks

When hearing of the D1 perk it sounded so cool. You could play like an assassin and kill people if you managed to stab them in the back. You could kill supers (like Peregrine Greaves) if you managed to successfully hide which isn't easy since it kinda reveals you on the radar in a blinking fashion. So I managed to get it the first day and it felt like Christmas till I read the perk. Used it a tad, hated it, and used it for infusion material for a higher light level. Feels bad.
