My great apologies. You, Bungie, can make something great out of Destiny without Activision in your hair. You got this!

11 отв.Did you guys not see the roadmap of all future content? Man, this community is so shortsighted. Its only been 1 day into the new season and look at the wave of children crying because they have no money. 1. Raid 2. Menagerie 3. Heroic Menagerie 4. Truth Exotic Quest 5. Two new Menagerie bosses 6. Iron Banner Quest 7. Lumina Exotic Quest 8. Tribute Hall 9. Solstice of Heroes But yeah, lets all complain about how Eververse has ruined the game for thousandth time.

1 ответYou changed your mind? I gotta take back my upvote.

41 отв.Изменено (Spoons Rattlin): 6/5/2019 1:37:35 PMAll these morons saying “ItS OnLy CoSmEtIc” are completely missing the point. Eververse is the only vendor in the game that gets a refresh each season. In year 3 of D1, EVERY tower vendor got a refresh EVERY week. Not to mention that EVERY vendor got an entirely new set of guns and armor after every DLC. D2s vendors have been the exact same for over a year now, after 3 different DLCs. And even if they are working on D3, that’s no excuse to be lazy about the current game. Hell, they were working on D2 when they put out Age of Triumph, which scaled all the raids and remade the gear and added ornaments. Point is, Eververse has made Bungie lazy about the rest of the game, since the rest of the game doesn’t have a payday attached to it except for the cost of the DLC, and that is a bad thing. I don’t think anyone would have a problem with Eververses existence if it weren’t taking away from the rest of the game. Eververse was a thing in D1 and I never heard a complaint about it because they were still putting out meaningful content alongside it, as opposed to it sucking the resources from the rest of the game like it currently is.

6 отв.If I'm not mistaken, can't all the eververse items be obtained within the game just by...playing?
-
3 отв.EV was always Bungle.

17 отв.Does anyone who actually complains about eververse, have a job, and know how the world works, or what it takes to run a buisness.
-
...seriously? Ugh
-
Lol this 👆 For the rest the year is going to be jam packed full of new content . Shadow keep looks amazing !
-
5 отв.Or...or...or... This is their way of self funding once they officially break ties with Activision and lose all the funding from said publisher.
-
Destiny going f2p so it’s gonna be needed
-
Who cares? It's trash merchandise anyway

24 отв.First, I see a lot of people saying "Bungie needs this money blah blah blah", well, owing 100 million dollars to Activision for publishing rights is not our debt. Its Bungies. Second, Bungies next big announcement for D2 had better be that it's going free to play, because that's what their microtransaction mall looks like. Third, even if that is the announcement, it's just an excuse for developers to give you bare bones bullshit. Battlefield V, free dlc? No, they just gave you the rest of the game months later. Anthem, f**k Anthem, we all know what happened there. The Division 2? Their free DLC so far has just been the rest of the game. Bungie needs to get back in the War Room and figure out a better way to do Eververse. This is not acceptable in a paid game with paid dlc.
-
It’s rumored this change is because Destiny is becoming free to play.
All I have to say is... Dare I say, Activision was merely holding Bungie's greed back for Vailla D2.
I was stoked when I read about the split. When Activision jumped ship I bought Forsaken the next day, and now that I'm really getting to see how Bungie works I wish I had left D2 in the waiting to install section of my games.

5 отв.Less rng more direct buy sounds fine. If you thought eververse was going away well... Words like naive or delusional come to mind. The fight on monetization isn't about getting rid of them it is about reaching a common ground.

97 отв.I swear some people would complain if you hung them from a golden rope. This community spent YEARS complaining about loot boxes and the inability to directly purchase desired items. Now Bungie---when they're finally out from under Activision----give us what we've said we wanted. Purely cosmetic MTX....ones that can be directly purchased for either cash or bright dust....and no lootboxes. ...and you guys STILL complain. Seriously. You are not entitled to the fruit of other people's labor for free.
-
12 отв.So question... how many purchases habe they forced you to make? How has not having that projection/emote/other cosmetic affected your game play? Also if they are charging 10 bucks for a 4 month season of content..... how is it greed? Seems more like they put together a quality product for a small price tag to be inclusive for everyone and if people have extra they want to spend on extras in the game they have the ability to do so

6 отв.Изменено (Dulcius): 6/5/2019 6:08:04 PMBungie mentioned that Eververse was a way to acquire funds to put towards Seasonal Events like the Dawning and Revelry, etc. If you don’t want to buy anything, don’t. The majority of items have dropped from eververse Engrams for me without spending any money on silver. If people want to spend their money on eververse items, so be it. To each their own. No big deal.
-
1 ответThat would be a good point except, ya know, Activision still had a huge hand in the development of this dlc. Start making these posts when the fall expansion is this bad, then it will actually make sense.
-
2 отв.Get over it already. Eververse is optional. Wtf
-
11 отв.More like they need money now, idiot.
-
1 ответI'd say having to buy loot boxes and pray to get something you wanted is worse than just buying it directly. On the other hand, the prices they are selling the sets and ornaments for are absurd. $6 for a single exotic ornament?
-
2 отв.I'm kinda bummed that I can't preview all the items available for the season. One of my favorite things to do at the start of every season is just take a few minutes and see what was there.
-
Изменено (Dark Raven 2501): 6/4/2019 11:54:46 PMSomeone get me a sledgehammer I can see a roach in the corner ...... whoops that’s actually bungie ...... someone get the surface spray before it starts breeding

23 отв.So I can buy something directly instead of having to go through a randomized loot box system, and that is now worse than a loot box system? When Battlefront 2 dropped, that game was viciously criticized up and down for months about it's loot box system. Even after it was removed people still act like it is part of the core game. Bungie removes the loot box aspect, and now they are more greedy? How does that make any sense? Honestly, I don't understand the gaming community in general anymore. EA is just greedy -blam!- because they implement loot boxes (and subsequently removed them, but that doesn't matter because they tried to do it, dammit!!!!), but Rockstar is an amazing company despite two extremely heavy loot box AAA titles. And lastly: Who cares about Eververse anyway? It is cosmetic crap. When Year 3 drops there will be new stuff everyone will be chasing and all the stuff they thought they "needed" to have in this game will be long forgotten. If you have a problem with Eververse, do like I do and stop giving a f*ck about cosmetic crap on a character 95% of the time you can't even see.
