Me and one of my friends decided to do the maths and see how much everything would cost in terms of Silver.
So, there's the Featured page: There's an exotic emote, an exotic ornament, an exotic ship, an exotic sparrow, and a legendary ghost projection.
In total, the cost of all those items would equal to 3500 Silver, which would mean if you were to but the bundle of 3500, it would cost you £25 or $30 according to exchange rate.
That's just the featured page; we still have the "Seasonal Offerings" to go. Overall, there are: 3 Armour bundles (one for each class), 6 exotic armour ornaments, 10 legendary weapon ornaments, 4 rare emotes, 5 legendary ghot projections (we have already included one in the featured, so we'll take that one off), 6 rare ghost projections and 5 transmat effects.
Each of the item prices are listed here:
Armour Bundle: 1200 Silver Each
Exotic Armour Ornament: 600 silver each
Legendary Weapon Ornament: 400 Silver Each
Rare Emote: 200 Silver Each
Legendary Ghost Projection: 200 Silver Each
Rare Ghost Projection: 100 Silver Each
Legendary Transmat Effect: 200 Silver
Overall, the total price of everything, in the "Seasonal Offerings" page, would cost 17,900 Silver. In total, the cheapest you could get this would be you buying £120 or $150, unincluding the legendary ghost projection which is on the featured page, and leaving 100 Silver left in your pocket.
So, Overall, in terms of everything new in the eververse store, the total price of all the items would be equal to 21,400 Silver, which would be equal to you buying three 6000 silver bundles and two 2300 silver bundles of we were trying to get as close to the amount of silver needed as possible without silver in our account already.
In total, these 5 silver bundles will cost you:
£153 or $190
And that was rounding down.
After all of this, we still have more eververse items yet to come as this is the first day of SoO.
Thanks Bungie, as a collector of items in Destiny you have essentially killed the driving factor that kept me playing your game.
Enjoy my friends.

1 ответThey are self publishing and need the revenue to continue making the game, it reasonable for them to monetise cosmetics in this fashion. As a collector, buy what you can, what you can. No one is forcing you to spend all that money. It is a choice.
-
5 отв.The people that defend this sort of behavior is the reason the gaming industry is getting more and more greedy.
-
1 ответI'd rather give the £153 to charity. -blam!- Eververse
-
1 ответBump and +1. Naked greed in a AAA game title is disgusting. I'd say it's also a slap in the face to players, but Bungie's been slapping so much lately that it's no longer an insult to call them out on it.
-
We've gone full f2p economy here folks. You want to fully experience everything you already paid for? Then I hope you have a few Benjamins to part with.
-
2 отв.Don’t forget more will be added with Solstice event as well. Plus there will be the exotic weapon ornaments when the exotic quest is ‘discovered’/leaked. While majority in theory can be earned in game through grind the biggest issue for me is any that are purchase only - we paid for the game so everything should be earnable, this is not a FTP game there is no justification for that (Iron Banner Emote, Whisper Skins, etc)
-
1 ответ$190 is pocket change in Trumps America

2 отв.This new EV system is a step back. You are locking content behind silver and one step away from pay to win. Remove this "best of year one engram" for 80% of players who have everything the engram is pointless. Bright dust is also pointless now. This is preditory behaviour that I didn't expect from bungie. We want to earn new gear but what a surprise the best gear is EV gear. I can tell alot more effort has been but into EV gear than gear in the loot pool. All the gear that's in the loot pool is all reskins or reterning gear. It's just plain lazy and greedy. You was doing so well with black armory weapons looking amazing (the best looking weapons in the game) Cmon bungie I know your better than this. I have been following you since halo CE and have faith in you but this really has made me think. I'm not angry with you, I'm disappointed that you have taken to this type of behaviour. You messed with things that ain't broke. Shaders, pursuits menu etc. If it ain't broke don't fix it. EVERYONE MAKE SURE YOU TAKE EDVANTAGE OF THE GLITCH THAT ALLOWS YOU TO OPEN THE FINAL CHEST IN THE MENAGERIE MULTIPLE TIMES TO HIT BACK AT BUNGIE FOR MESSING WITH THE GAME WE LOVE JUST FOR MORE MONEY. We love destiny. I get money is the root of all evil and love can't pay the bills. Like I said before it's like being in an abusive relationship. Bungie will do something shady get caught out say sorry then do it all over again in a different way get caught, say sorry and repeat. This is just another attempt. Do not support it. Cosmetics don't effect the end game so don't buy it please. Show them that us gamers hold the power between a failed game (anthem) and a successful game (witcher 3)

9 отв.Изменено (Amazinite): 6/6/2019 5:57:48 AMImagine adding up the cost of all the shit in a dollar store then complaining. And think of the shipment coming next week!
You don’t need everything.
In game stores are massively marked up proffit for game companies. You get a fraction of the content of a duke nukem addon, and they get paid what they would have if they provided an entire game...

3 отв.Is that $190 American? Cause that's -blam!-ed in Aussie dollars xD
-
1 ответThanks for this
-
3 отв.You don’t have to buy it and it won’t make any better if they do so why worry. Yes it should be rewards from activities and not in eververse but that ship sailed when no one complained in d1.
-
2 отв.Just wait and buy them with Bright Dust on rotation
-
3 отв.In Train Simulator buying all dlc costs about 8000$

7 отв.Изменено (neoshell): 6/5/2019 4:09:11 AMNow.. Can you do the same so we can know a much dust we gona need to buy all the s7 stuff!? Ps: This season has 2 armor sets per class. 1 will drop from the egrans and the other is purchased directly from eververse. This week, we already get some stuff that is exclusive from S7 that can be bought with dust. Sometimes is better spend 10/15 min looking around than spending 1h or looking for drama.
-
8 отв.There is also 4 or 5 new items you can purchase for bright dust on the last page. I don’t see what the issue is.
-
5 отв.It’s a shame a transmog system has yet to be put in place, kinda sick of looking like garbage whilst you level in power Plus in my experience, finding an aesthetic you like that also comes with decent perks is super rare.
-
15 отв.Before I go on a rant, am I missing something? Is there no way to earn these items through engrams anymore?

1 ответBump...for Garbage Mode Prime

1 ответThats fine, let bungie make overhead-free profit by exploiting players’ lack of self control.
