I think you’re right but so far they have found away to make their money.

They will always find ways and right now, a part of that is using Tess as they have been. It's selfish when the rest of the game is lacking when it comes to vendors or just updating content in general. There will always be them gamers that will throw money at the screen. Destiny is the (only game) most of them play and think there is nothing else out there. It's a bad habit most won't break from and Bungie knows this, and Bungie plays off of that. Why do you think they have been able to get away with all the shady practice and yet to come?

I know. To me right now bungie is just as bad or worse than EA and definitely worse than Activision. They could have just admitted openly that the Destiny 1 model was too costly and that they could no longer keep up. But the truth is they are not even trying. Now, when the community tells them there is something we want back in the game bungie starts scheming about how and when they will bring it back and how much they are going to charge us for it. Never mind the fact that the thing in question was a part of the game the first time around. Faction vendors in the tower with new stock every few months, random rolls on that stock that changed weekly, strike specific gear, the ability to choose what type of item you got from rank up packages, a chance every week to get something new from xur. There is more i am probably forgetting.
