If im not mistaken vault has 500 slots. Any old gear that comes from collections is worthless. So with that said there is no way gear after forsaken should take 500 slots, unless you hoard. I never have more than 200 slots full and i play everyday dude. If they add another 500 just for you bro im fine with that it wont bother me one bit but lets recognize you just might be hoarding shit you should probably dismantle.

Or MWed Y1 weapons that you only get 1 EC for even though you invested 10 into it. Or the myriad random roll weapons and armor you can't pull out of Collection. This would be less of an issue if Bungie put a gun range in the Tower so that you could test out every conceivable random roll you get to see which ones you like, which ones synergize best with your playstyle, etc. But because there is no easy way to test these guns, especially to see how well they do in Crucible when maxed out, means that PvPers are going to hoard every half-decent random roll to see if it's a hidden diamond in the rough. Im a pvper and by now i can tell what the gun will do and how it will perform for the most part just by looking at base stats and the perks and scopes/sights it has. Not that complicated like a real rpg or mmo. D2 is pretty damm simple dude. Thats why the meta is always abused in pvp and pve.

Mines mainly year 2 armour. Currently 490/500
-
Everything year 1 related is in the collections apart form two things. Midnight coup and sins of the past. Everything else is year 2. No more than 2/3 of the same gun, and I dont even have most the guns because most really aren’t great. Armour is all has varied rolls to compensate for the constant wind changing of buffs and nerfs, and that’s my vault full.
-
Midnight Coup and Sins are in collections.
-
You completely misread what I said. I was saying I use them, as oppose to anything else that is in the collections tab
-
I think its because of how you wrote it I took that as you saying they aren't in collections.
Everything year 1 related is in the collections apart form two things. Midnight coup and sins of the past.
Yeah I see your confusion.
If im not mistaken vault has 500 slots. Any old gear that comes from collections is worthless. Eh, anyway about the topic of conversation for me I don't need more vault space even though I run 3 chars I have only filled like 74 slots in my vault.

Изменено (lINVICTUSIl): 6/1/2019 1:11:41 PMFair enough, everyone plays differently I suppose.
-
Still sounds like hoarding dude.
-
The whole point of a 'looter shooter' is to hoard good gear. 500 spaces in the Vault isn't enough to keep a good roll of every weapon and piece of gear in the game, especially if you want multiple builds and different perk combinations. It's also 'virtual' hoarding, so I'm somehow thinking that OP is not going to end up dead, buried under a pile of old newspapers like the Collyer Bros.
Still sounds like hoarding dude.
-
How many good roll, armor sets and combo can possibly be made in the current state of the game that would require more than 500 slots? No dude its virtual hoarding lol. Im glad he will be ok as you say though and not burried under some stupid weapons or armor sets from year 1 because you know it makes sense to keep those sets even though we have collections now.
-
It's also 'virtual' hoarding, so I'm somehow thinking that OP is not going to end up dead, buried under a pile of old newspapers like the Collyer Bros.
Lmao this made my day, thank you for having a fully functioning brain, goes a long way.

Of course it would from your perspective, that’s because instead of actually thinking about every possibility that the devs may change you just delete stuff that has potential. When in actual fact those items that have potential most likely will have a great purpose in the following updates. Hoarding means to collect things without need or reason. Every single item in my vault has a thought out purpose behind its existence, whether that purpose has yet been fulfilled is besides the point, it’s there to prevent from needing to look for it again; it’s called forward planning.
-
Lol when has anything with potential in D2 thats not an exotic ever made great in some future update dude? I would love to see your vault. Probably a bunch of blues and faction rally stuff lol
-
Forward planning? And then complaining about vault space? You can literally use any gun in the game and complete anything, it's not even worth worrying about. There's was maybe 20 guns I'd have brought into D2 from D1. There's nothing I'd take into D3 from D2, the loot in this game is awful.
-
Thank you man. You get it. There are days i just jump on a toon and play with whatever is there for pve and i complete stuff just fine.
-
I kinda understand it from D1, meta changed a lot, guns were great and lots of them, n maybe I'm burned out, or past caring after 5 years but after thousands upon thousands of hours I just use whatever I have and it makes almost 0 difference. Everything feels like a Chinese knock off version of D1 lol

Good talk
