What are you getting on about? You have the same amount of guns. Just because you have more options for builds doesn’t mean you are going to use them all the time. This allows players to suit their own style better. Personally, i like being able to pick off a shield with a primary and then destroy them with a kinetic special, but things like that aren’t possible in a D1 system.

And btw you have twice as many guns bc you mix them all together

It’s not like one gun can go into two slots. You can’t carry more guns than before

I’m sorry if I wasn’t being clear enough, but I mean the gun system is based on ammo, not elements. In Destiny 1, you could have all three guns be elemental.( I think I saw some gameplay of it). If that didn’t exist back then, it could exist now. I love how there are energy primaries. We could keep those but put group them with the kinetics as well.

We DID have all elementals in D1 but they didn't like it that way for some reason. If we could being that back, I'm all for using the old syatem...but with one slot being unable to have elemental damage, this is definitely the better choice. It all depends on whether they want to give us 3 elementAL slots. We had it for a couple of years but we didn't have it for the entirety of D1 and I don't see them going back to all guns with elements. I did enjoy that though, and if they brought that back I'd be cool with it, otherwise, keep it this way if we only get 2 elementals.
