There are enough posts on cores (WHICH YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO)
So on another note, how about those ornaments we're getting for revelry? Can't we keep them forever? What's the harm? It's not gonna bother anyone is it?

My hype died when I realized the ornaments aren't gonna stay Whats the poitn
-
Hell yeah, I’m not grinding for anything that doesn’t last longer than the event. I didn’t grind out that gift sparrow and don’t regret it
-
Yeah I was really liking them. No point in getting them now if they're gone in a week. Dumb move.

19 отв.Изменено (TC6 Wolverine): 4/14/2019 10:50:08 AMIn a game with limited content I find it perplexing why they keep removing content. Faction vendors: gone. Planetary vendors: still there but nut updated with random rolls (whaaaat?). Eververse has three complete sets of armor and weapon skins every season that just get thrown away at seasons end (whyyyyyyy???) they are random rolled and just as rare as exotics! Solstice armor: jump through massive hoops to get them done and enjoy them for maybe a week before obsolete.....thanks? Escalation Protocol: was an end game activity. Now it’s something to cancel public events with because it sure isn’t for the sweet gear without rolls. Raids: Several raids without updated rolls on gear.... that’ll keep us coming back. Trials: okay. For this one I accept I was never good enough to get anything from it. But for the masses of people who were, they can’t wear or use their stuff because it too got left behind. And now this.... Look Bungie, I play a lot. Like as in “kids are raising themselves, wearing a Catheter while I play” a lot. But even I am fizzling out. These decisions are a bit baffling. If making content is hard, your words not mine, then why on God’s green Earth do you keep removing it?🤔 please stop taking away “loot” from a “loot game”. Edit: added Escalation Protocol

Bungie rules with an iron fist. The entire point of the game from their stand point is to keep us poor and wanting. If they made something we liked and got to keep it. Then they would have to live up to that standard. The prefer to constantly keep taking so that when they offer something we will be happy. No matter how trash it is. This week we got an event that every other game would have just called a patch.
-
This needs to stay at the top
-
Im sorry Bungie.......I like you guys and all, but I really want those freaking ornaments to be permanent! IM just saying we barely got enough gear to set most of us guardians apart in fashion. Heck I am going to get the Arbalest, but truth be told, I was doing the event for the ornaments Bungie!

1 ответLooks like bungle is ignoring this , not much of a surprise

7 отв.While I most certainly agree with you, I also completely understand the reasoning behind it. Two words... Exclusive... Limited... Just look at the fast food industry and you'll realise why game devs are following the same trend. Taco Bell and their Nacho Fries... McNasty's and their almighty-not-meant-for-human-consumption McRib... Even car manufacturers can make $5k - $50k more per sale simply by making a particular model, or just additions to a particular model, "limited". Which, in turn, makes the consumer feel "exclusive" in that they have something that only a handful of others have as well. Unfortunately, people like to feel special and better than the next, so this type of business practice works amazingly well.... even for the almighty McRib (I'm pretty sure this one is limited because people would literally kill themselves from mass consumption😕). As for video games, it's a great tactic to try and drive up player count during certain periods. "Want that really sweet gun? Well, it's only available to obtain for one week! Better get to work, lil fella'!"
-
1 ответBut if they let you keep it, they have to create new content for the next event and Bungie can’t possibly do that.
-
Does this need the be bumped again. Let's keep it at the top

Member when y'all asked to keep the broomstick Sparrow in Destiny? Posts had like 1000+ upvotes? Let's hope this works. We need more ornaments like this. PvP and pve.

Изменено (Zepheron): 4/15/2019 5:44:44 AMBungie logic. *sigh* I still want to wear the Solstice event armor sets with those kick-ass glows, but outside of a transmog system, they will perpetually rot in my vault.
-
Who the -blam!- thought it was a good idea to waste time making these if it’s only for a week.?? Bungie logic I swear.. people love and want trials... ok let’s make gambit prime private matches ffs
-
No and no
-
Why would I grind for an armor set that will most likely be past its limit within a couple of days? I like the idea of having the helms and the ornaments on my characters for the looks and grinding for good rolls. But why bother when they become boring helmets by the end of the week?

1 ответBungie: "To show we are listening we will be responding to requests that revelry ornaments be made permanent in the way we feel will best please our "core audience". We will be updating ornaments so that instead of them disappearing at the end of the Revelry event... They instead will only be available for use for 30 minutes on Monday April 22nd at 2am to 230am in the morning. After which time your account will be deleted and we will entirely drain your bank account then set your house on fire. See you in game Guardians!"
-
1 ответNext thing you know, they make them permanent but they're silver exclusive
-
2 отв.We never got to keep our broom sparrow in the first game, so i wouldn't count on it. That still bothers me until this day, i really wanted my Warlock to ride her broom from place to place.
