Next week the Spring event will release!
And they let us farm new armor and ornaments, BUT: Ornaments will only be active for this event only. So after the Event, your armor customization is gone. Your thoughts on that? I think this is stupid af.
-
I honestly don't mind the ornaments going away because they still don't hold a candle to the D1 ornaments. The Revelry ornaments look lame and lackluster to me.
-
I'd like to see crucible and vanguard ornaments make a return with set bonuses added on to them. Something like the way vanilla d1 iron banner shaders would grant more rep upon match completion. But also grant more tokens and higher legendary drop rates upon completion of matches. For those who want God roll weapons and armor.

1 ответJust like the dawning sparrow when I found out the glimmer bonus was gonna be turned off after event I thought 💭 “what’s the -blam!-ing point in doing that then”
-
Yup. I'm not even going to bother. Fooled me once with SoH, so they can piss off.
-
3 отв.I don't even like the revelry game armor, I like the eververse ones far more and will just buy all 3 sets. Ima use my time to get the arbalest.
-
1 ответI'm usually a little more thoughtful with my opinion on things. That being said, I think giving us cool looking stuff for a limited time avant, then taking away the cool looking aspect when the event ends, is just a dumb idea. Just...dumb. That's all I got. One word. Dumb.
-
2 отв.How the -blam!- does bungie even come up with that decision?
-
When will people learn Bungie is home to the dumbest Devs in the industry !!! If their is a stoopid choice to make they will find a way to make it .
-
1 ответI enjoyed the orment system and it would actually pair much better with the infusion economy and here is why. For new events and activities instead of constantly grinding out new gear, grinding for the ornaments allowed for players to keep the gear they liked with the look they wanted. There wasn't this constant need to fill your vault or find gear because it was new. You could consistently focus on masterworking a set you liked and at the same time simply acquire the ornaments for that season to get the new look. Beneficial perks should have been rolled into ornaments acquired through new activities. Lets say a new raid drops, you already have a set of perks you like on your gear, and you put the time into masterworking it. They incorporate ornaments with additional perks to give you an edge on that raid/activity in addition to universal mods. I want to run an older raid, and I have already put the work into acquiring the ornaments for that raid, I go into my inventory and equip those raid specific ornaments with perks that apply towards that older raid. Boom, back to using the benefit I have already worked for. I liked having less gear floating around with the idea that i could equip different looks based on the time I put in and what I have earned.
-
1 ответI recommend just avoiding the event alltogether if thats the case.
-
2 отв.Don't worry. I'm sure they'll make an Eververse bundle lol
-
I miss my raid gear and o rniments from d1. Permanent orniments would be nice. I'm not sure why they would make the only work.durimg the event. In that case I'll be deleting them Once its over.
-
I'm personally just not gonna take part. No point if its limited time ornaments. Pleanty still to do in save the world and other games.
-
2 отв.So arc week was basically a patch. Now the spring event rewards you with something that disappears at the end of said event. Lmfao!
-
2 отв.Изменено (AlmostLancelot): 4/13/2019 3:11:45 PMLike most of the design decisions made by the current development team working on Destiny 2, this one makes no sense. The armor from the event itself is absolutely hideous (is the art team blind?) and grinding for a temporary ornament is one of the dumbest ideas ever. I'll be playing the Division 2, rather than wasting my time on this garbage (and before some smart ass armchair detective tries to pull the "you were logged into D2 x number of minutes ago" move. No I was not, I haven't played in weeks, my wife has though - she is easily amused by mediocrity).

1 ответThe community has expressed tremendously to bring back ornaments. Never in a million years would I have expected ornaments to be brought back in a way Bungie is doing it next week. Having my Titan run around with antlers on his head? Yikes. More and more I'm seeing this game is going in the wrong direction. We get so called new armor from The Revelry event which is only a reskin of year 1 Destiny 2 exclusive sets we had for our classes. But.. of course they will put another armor tied to Eververse which I think it is new. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this part... But I'll just do it for the exotic linear fusion rifle The Arbelest.
-
It needs to stay after the event. Otherwise it's useless.
-
More vault space to accomodate the 3 new sets every season
-
The real question is: Do I want this ugly as fuuu armor in my vault after the event?
-
1 ответWhere did they say this? I believe you, because it’s Bungie. Just haven’t seen that yet.
-
All hype died when I heard. Get arbalest aaaaand done, cool..
-
its another layer of artificial grind. well, on the plus side - it DOES reward you with the Arbalist, and powerful loot bounties so its another way to level up lower Characters. I have been spamming Vance and i have a out 11 cores in Bounties i need to go and do but just too shit lazy, i have 187 cores, last time i checked.
-
6 отв.The bigger question is why ar we having a spring event, its the same event from Halloween, with the same activities, but different looks.
-
2 отв.Maybe some have other opinions on that, but also the armor looks shitty. But anyways. Even if some people may like the gear set, it doesnt look special at all, compared to sets we know from Destiny 1.
-
I didn’t even get my hopes up for the looks of the Titan armour, yet I’m still disappointed with it. The shoulders look so ugly in particular, again. These events are funded by our purchases. Why can’t they listen to our feedback about the gear?
-
2 отв.Agreed.. why grind for something that’ll be removed right after the event ends. Waste of everyone’s time including the staff at Bungie. I honestly don’t understand the logic behind it.
