PLAYSTATION IS FINALLY LETTING US CHANGE USERNAMES

PlayStation is finally letting us change our usernames. It looks like the first change is free, but you’ll have to pay for it after that. I believe you can change it in the US right now, and you can change it everywhere else tomorrow.

1 ответI can’t change it. I followed said instructions on the site and the ID change isn’t even listed on the profile settings. What the -blam!- is this a joke? I intstalled the update and everything!

I am so pumped for this. When does it go live? I made a gamertag that would fit on a license plate for some dumb reason. It isn't an obvious name and everyone butchers it in games. I am biting the bullet and changing since I only play D2 and it was listed as a game that is supported. I am checking PSN website all day until I can make the change. I just wish I knew when this was happening. They just said "Today".

4 отв.I didn't read the link, but I read a previous one that said if you change it, it may cause issues with games that were released before April of last year and a few other issues. Sony really should have designed their network better instead of rushing/ halfassing to compete with XBL back then.
