Favorite Single Player game OF ALL TIME
Single player games are probably some of my favorite game types out there. Actually, my favorite game period is single player.
I’m curious: what are some of OffTopic’s favorite single player games of all time? I know I’ve got a few favorites, but I’m curious about the rest of you guys.
My favorite single player game is a toss up between Final Fantasy XV and Dragon Quest XI.
Final Fantasy XV was a ton of fun for me, and it was the first Final Fantasy I played where I was old enough to actually comprehend a storyline (I played through XII when I was 9 or 10 but I didn’t understand what was going on). I had an absolute blast learning all about who still stands as my favorite villain of all time, Ardyn Izunia, and experiencing the story that FFXV has to offer.
However, I don’t think any other game I’ve ever played comes even remotely close to the amount and depth of story, backstory, development, and everything in between that Dragon Quest XI has. It takes most people an average of about 120 [i]hours[/i] to beat that game. It’s absolutely insane! I haven’t even beaten the game myself yet, and I’m loving it more than most other single player games I’ve played.
So anyway, what are some of OffTopic’s favorite single player games?

Dark Souls. Hands down. When I first started playing I had trouble connecting a bunch to others so I just played offline. To this day 100%ing that game has been my proudest achievement.

I don't play alot of single player games, but I sure loved that one. I know I'm gonna trigger some people by saying this, but I didn't actually enjoy Dad of Boy very much. I don't have the time to enjoy playing games at anything more than a casual level
