I understand what you're trying to say, but if we call every one time apperance character a Mary Sue we muddy it's actual definition. Joxer would be a Marry sue with that definition, the Titan who was revived below a Red Legion mining drill would be a Marry sue, hell if you look at our characters we're a Marry sue for killing one of the most powerful fallen soldiers on our first day of being a Guardian. This character is new and demonstrated a flaw, she's brash and a zealot. She is closed minded to anything other then light and would kill a man who dares have a different opinion on right and wrong
