You’ve lost me bungie, I’m done with destiny.
For all of those who main Hunters and Titans who are about to say “NoVa WaRP wAs A CruTch GeT GUd!!”, let me just say please play Warlock and send me your feedback on how it plays. I main warlock, I play on my Titan for fun and I haven’t touched my hunter since Solstice of heroes. I love my warlock, not because it had good abilities but I felt like it was my style. From D1 all the way to D2, I’ve Mained warlock and I know how it feels to get shafted from constant bullshit but this update took the cake. I was in denial that Nova Warp was still good only to get -blam!-ed over in every rumble match out there. Switched to too tree slowva bomb and it’s still ass, anyone could just outrun and dodge it.
I tried stormtrance, chaos reach and dawnblade and they are just bad. Warlock exotics are just terrible and are a waste. Only good PVP exotics are Ophedien Aspects, Neazracs sin, and Karnstein armlets and that’s it literally. Warlocks right now are the worst destiny character in the game. We are no longer able to compete in pvp. We are a PvE class now. Don’t believe me, please play warlock and tell me how you fair on crucible.
I don’t wanna play on the easiest to use character ever (Titans) and I don’t wanna go to the most popular character and hop on the bandwagon of hunters. Warlock is so cool and warlocks suck now. I’ve stopped playing. Im not saying that Nova Warp didn’t need a nerf but you OVER NERFED IT. I’m not going to Anthem cause they may have micro transactions up the ass. But I’m just gonna play rainbow six siege, PUBG (maybe) and Overwatch. So thank you Bungie for ruining this experience for me, it probably wasn’t Activision who was the problem.

The mobility granted by the super means no one can run from you. Also ever heard of transverse steps? Excellent exotic especially paired with last word as the auto reload from sprinting doesn’t reset the fan fire buff.

If you just tried cataclysm nova bomber today, it has some buffs play like you would back when that 3rd branch didn't even exist 6 months ago... Try.

They should do a complete reset nerf everything to to ground weapons, supers,exotics just for a week then adjust accordingly.

Edit: It needs a Gwislin Vest or Ursa Furosia type exotic that give super energy back for each kill so it can continue, or give super energy back when the super ends. It's suffering from pretty much everything. It's a roaming super that doesn't last long nor is it reliable because nearly everything else can counter it. 2 kills reliably and 3 or 4 if you're efficient or lucky.

Stormcaller is better anyway. And the Dawnblade duration increase took the only weak part of the class and made it better. If you struggle with Warlock its honestly cause you’re trash. 4 отв.Hunters are the easiest class that is why more people are drawn to them. Simple numbers. But I will say that warlocks are probably the most difficult. But I will also disagree with you about the nerf to nova warp. It was need. I’m going to get some hate but that’s ok. We are each entitled to our own opinions. The supers for warlocks are viable for pvp. I got my butt kicked by a couple the other day in pvp. I don’t know your stats friend, and I can’t look them up at the moment, but sometimes we have to adjust our gameplay a bit to gain a foothold after updates. I main a titan, (and although I may joke saying they are master race, they have their own issues) I don’t think they are any better or worse then warlocks. I haven’t played my warlock in a while, but will once I max level my titan. Do you run in teams or are you a solo pvper?

The storm javelin in Anthem is exactly what warlocks should have been in this game. -they can hover for long periods of time above the battlefield, much longer than any other exosuit. -they can crowd control enemies by freezing them while [b][u]also[/u][/b] setting them up for bonus combo damage. -a combo detonation caused by a storm javelin spreads the status effect to enemies around the target that got detonated. -ability to blink while maintaining hovering -super is literally an elemental storm that sets up all enemies in it's radius with a primer blow and detonation blast in each of the three elements. -Shield is more powerful while hovering and protects from status effects like burning or freezing. Seriously bungo, you went astray with the warlock class. Anthem reminded me what a warlock [b][u]should[/u][/b] be.

The only thing I wanted nerfed on Nova Warp was invincibility. All the Year 1 supers you can get 1 shot shotgunned killed by a shotgunn (2 shots for auto fire frame). 3 people team shooting Nova Warp couldn't take them down before getting booped. I would also love to see Blade Barrage invincibility frames get removed. They get down to a smidge of health, pop Blade Barrage, and they're bullet proof doing the action. They can only be killed after it's been performed, which is why their own Blade Barrage can kill them now. The best you can do is jump at them and hope you take them with you. But Dawnblade is just a copy of Titan Hammers. Both need their splash damage dropped a bit for PvP.

3 отв.Ahhh, yes! This is it; the post I was waiting for ever since I heard they were nerfing the super that nets 5-6 kills on average. Seriously, everything in this game is easy - if you can’t play smart and be successful then it is a you problem. Seriously, guys - I brought plenty 🍿

2 отв.Top tree nova bomb (attunement of chaos) paired with skull of ahamkara is never ending nova bombs and orbs all day long. Bottom tree daybreak lasts forever and just got a big damage boost as well. Pair it with sunbreaker gauntlets and rain fire everywhere. Stormcaller bottom tree and crown of tempests is very good at destroying waves of enemies. Middle tree sunsinger with lunafaction boots is an awesome support combo. I could name more, but your analysis of warlocks is wrong on so many levels. Of the “only good” exotics that you name, Ophidian Aspects is the only one i use with any regularity- many others are as good or better...

1 ответAs a warlock main, Nova Warp was a crutch, git gud. It was nerfed too hard, yes, however if you’re throwing out the entire class based on the nerfing of a single ability than you are using it as far too much of a crutch. Also stormcaller master race

1 ответHey keep an eye on anthem dude. It is EA but Bioware have said all micros are cosmetic only and still obtainable in game if you don't wanna purchase it. Updates and add ons, from what I understand, is free. I'm not saying buy it but just watch out for it because the mobility is fantastic and the world is gorgeous.
