I understand what Destiny is. But I will not buy the annual pass. Its ridiculously priced for what it essentially is; paying for weapons.
I bought the season pass when i picked up my copy of the game. I've taken breaks and grinded quests for weapons. I don't have many friends who play the game and so i dont really do the raids unfortunately.
But with the drop of TLW just a few days ago i was excited to grind it out and get a fun gun to play around with. Yet in modern gaming glory I was hit with a pay wall... Just like LMGs. Aside from the Thunderlord which is now a random drop they too I believe are locked behind a pay wall.
I played the D1 beta all of that content and had TLW and LMGs to boot.
I'm not really upset that I don't personally have these weapons I'm just disappointed that they are stashed behind a pay wall. It's disheartening to say the least.
Edit: My main argument was that the Black Armory had weapon archetypes hidden behind a pay wall. While this isn't entirely true, it is true to a point.
Aside from being very lucky and having RNG gift you a Thunder Lord or playing during the Dawning event you basically have to pay to play with an LMG.

4 отв.So why’d you feel the need to tell us instead of moving on with your life?

Изменено (Eclipse): 2/4/2019 4:45:03 AMIf you make a count, it comes down to 10 dollars per dlc, as in 10 dollars for black armory and all its content, 10 dollars for Joker's wild, and so on. I don't think it is that much of a price, besides the company does need to make some profit to ensure further development of the game, stable servers, proper website management And the devs eat and drink like the rest of us also!!! Moreso, i didn't bought the dlc for the weapons, gear or the content it provides, i bought it because i have had insanely amounts of fun with Forsaken and this was my way to say 'Thank You' to the developers and show my appreciation for the work they put in it! Just a sincere thank you, in form of purchasing the annual pass.❤️❤️❤️

Oh please....$34 for 9 or 10 months of new content is like 3-4 bucks a month (or just insert your appropriate currency exchange rate)! Good Lord, no one is asking people to buy a new car here. People don’t want to buy the new content, fine with me. Free country (or not, depending on what country you live in...in which case a video game should be the least of your concerns). The machine gun argument is pretty lame though because as you said, others are/were available. That being said I’ll take my tastily rolled Blast Furnace and Last Word and continue to get my butt kicked in crucible. Good luck in your future endeavors.

So essentially you are complaining about paying $34 for 2 new raids forge activity and yes some annual pass locked guns more quest new gambit and whatever they show you that is redacted on top of all the other free content they are giving you plus whatever the 2 redacted things are on the roadmap plus a new 6 player matching activity. Yes spread out across a year it does not seam like much but put it all together and its definitely worth the $34 and that is coming from someone who has no real interest in the season of the drifter. Not to mention they gave you non pass holders free content also and you have 2 exotic quest coming to you not locked to the annual pass. I mean seriously , I am so sick of seeing the exact post over and over again. They should have just called it a DLC and not let non DLC players have new content and no one would be complaining about the price with all the free and not free things in the roadmap. smh

1 ответAnnual pass adds content. TLW is part of this content. You don’t want the annual pass. You don’t get the added content.
-
I know you expect people to work on new weapons and quests only for them to get nothing and for you to get it for free, but that’s not how it works.
-
Its a loot shooter. Every dlc is basically you paying for new guns and gear. And in this case also 4 forges and a raid. And thats just 10 bucks worth of content so far . I feel like i got my moneys worth. More expensive to go see a movie lol.

I just love how the Bungie fan girls defend the reusing of assets we were told where "lost", in a nerfed state AND behind paid DLC 😂
-
22 отв.Never mind the guns - You will also be locked out from obtaining the most broken and powerful piece of exotic armour in the history of Destiny’s entire lifespan.
-
9 отв.$10 per dlc plus small drops in between. Dark below/house of wolves were $15 each and HoW didnt even have a raid.
-
It's not like the new weapons are new content or anything. Oh wait...

2 отв.I guess the new pve activity raid and other DLC'S don't count
-
I didn’t buy the pass either. The new content doesn’t appeal to me, and I feel it’s very insubstantial, the type of content given for free to sustain a game. I don’t believe The Last Word should require the annual pass. It’s an iconic weapon that we all had in D1. It’s not new. The annual ass should be for new content, the raid, forges, etc., not as a means to get our old gear returned to us. I have lost the last bit of respect I had left for Bungie over this. I’ve not played since TLW dropped, and I have no desire to. I’m even more determined to not buy the pass, and D3 is looking like I may pass on that if this sort of greed is what Bungie has become.

7 отв.Weird, I thought I ran the new raid from the season pass mutiple times and got an Anarchy from it as well as a cool shotgun. Must have been a dream....
-
I agree. I actually, somehow, managed to convince myself to buy the annual pass today for $35, and already, there's a giant bug that won't even let me get the forge weapons after wasting hours and hours on the quests to unlock them. Absolutely ridiculous and I regret wasting my time and money.

42 отв.You’re also paying for content, lore, exclusive missions etc. You get out what you put into this game so yeah if you don’t buy the annual pass stuff and expect to get good exclusive guns.
