Just did the strange terrain nightfall with the outpouring of ads, I can usually get 2-3 tethers for fun...now I managed to get a grand total 70% tether back. What experience are you guys having?

2 отв.I have to say it is a bit asinine. And agree with a comment earlier about other classes not needing an exotic to be good and now they nerf this 1 Hunter exotic and buff Titans and Warlocks exotics up. So Hunters can't really infinite super anymore, okay, but now Warlocks can? Which is weird and doesn't make sense considering all tether was mainly used for was orbs and sprinkle damage. I don't think it's a step in the right direction and hope they change it back. [spoiler]Also, I'm pretty sure if your hating on some of these comments you probably main Titan or Warlock. If your a hunter wake up.[/spolier]

8 отв.It's not nerfed to hell, it just uses different criteria to regen your super bar. It is NOT triggered simply by making a huge web, and the Chained explosions no longer add super energy. You can however get your super back, by chaining to a boss, and 1 enemy and shooting the boss as the means to kill the enemy. More powerful enemies that you kill and do damage to, fill the bar quicker... So the trade off, is you can't make orbs for your squad, by tethering a huge mob of thralls... but you can tether 2 ogres, and get your super back... I personally was upset with having to re-learn when to use it, but it was easier than training myself not to hold the SWAP button when I want to use my fusion Rifle... I still can't get used to it, after 8 hours.

I’m the only one who didn’t notice any difference? I used it in ep and it worked as before

tbh (and I say this as a hunter main) the bigger nerf was no more ability energy gain on tethering. Tether now gives you super energy based on what you tether. Not all red bar enemies are equal either. Like a thrall is worth less than a dreg. And a red knight is worth more than all other red healthed enemies sans like ogres and maybe wizards. Tethering a boss alone nets you around 50% of your energy. It's still possible to cycle supers. just not as easily. the Mobius buff will be slept on. But it's rather good.

Read patch notes.. they took away super gain on bloom and damage meaning you only get super when enemies walk into tether not on the initial tether animation like for the past year..
-
The Funpolice in action - how dare we being able to produce too many orbs for our Fireteam 🙄
-
5 отв.orpheus rigs work fine. you have to kill the enemies instead of just teathering them. wait for a lot of enemies to teather then kill them. works just fine
-
3 отв.It's pretty much the same.

Изменено (Ghostfire239): 8/31/2018 12:47:50 AMIt’s only good if you got yellow-bar enemies in the tether now. Before I could tether a bunch of thralls in EP and have my super back. Now I tether the same group of thralls and barely get a quarter of my super back. If you have a crap ton of yellow bars enemies bunched together then yes, it can be considered a buff but outside of that scenario it’s a nerf
-
Weirdly in that nightfall it looked like less thrall spawned, I waited to fire the tether but didn't until after I usually do, it works fine in other areas and great in EP, and still gains my team multiple orbs, and me numerous supers, us Hunters had our time to shine with this item, now it's the warlocks time for their super helm to shine.

I've had no issues. Especially when there are Majors in the bunch. A few rounds of EP and a Nightfall seemed ok. I've been playing more Arcstrider though, so I've not given that much of a test.
-
Felt different for sure, but definitely isn’t “nerfed to hell”. It’s still extremely viable. Not sure why you guys are crying about it.
-
1 ответyeah I've been getting good tethers off and still getting super back so it's still good. People were for some reason jumping the gun that it was nerfed beyond recognition
-
5 отв.Not just that, they decide to give the ability to instantly refill your super to Warlocks, PLUS kill the adds, PLUS be useful for boss damage, in addition to empowering rift and Devour. I don't understand the Devs in charge of the balance thing.
-
Rigs are pretty great. Takes even less ads if theres a major or boss. Can’t get energy from already tethered ads tho, and I think that’s okay
-
Of course, has there ever been a patch where hunters wernt neutered?
-
I had no issues with it last night

I guess it's time to start playing my Warlock. OP AF.
