It seems there is a horrible paradox in place that limits the communities ability for form raid groups. If you don’t have a completion you can’t get a raid group, but if you can’t get a raid group you can’t get a completion. I might not be the brightest stick in the fire but even I can’t get my head around this problem. How do you get a completion without already having one so you have the emblem?
It’s not like I’m a squeaker or lack the gear, I’m in my late thirties and over 380 power in all the different weapon loadouts I use. Many players are in this same predicament and the community is more and more elitist by the DLC, no prestige clear=no group, no EoW emblem=no doing EoW without having a great group of friends who are willing to carry you through, no SoS emblem not even your friends will go with you, I remember in Destiny 1 the community was awesome and helpful and now it’s just a bunch of trollish elitists who only will raid with other elitist trolls.
The “hardcore” fans/“super sweaties” who refuse to help others is why this game is dying. It’s not just the lack of diversity in gear it’s the fact that there is no end game unless you have the required completion emblems.
Can’t get experience if you can’t get a chance.

74 members in your clan and you can’t get a raid going? Maybe change clans...
-
I've not been kicked out a group yet 🤷♂️ Do you sound like a kid on the mic, that might be it 🙈

2 отв.Create your Own post and lay it out on your post. People will either join or ignore you. My Best advice would be Create your own post. Go as far as you can with the group even if you don't finish because it'll be experienced earned. Wash repeat over and over each Day/Week/Month until you get thru every encounter. Soon you'll know every encounter and you'll eventually get it done. Otherwise your just spinning your wheels and not getting any of it done. Heck yesterday I was trolling the Xbox LFG looking for something to do. Somebody was desperate to do NightFall so a buddy of mine and myself joined up and did it. We didn't need to do it, but thought "We'd be helping somebody out that needs it and it would kill some boredum too. "
-
Plenty of teams dont require completion or are there to teach new players. Just ignore the elitists.
-
Bitch you lying. You are on Xbox. Use the Xbox built in group finder. I use it exclusively and always have groups for any activity. I also see noob group posts on there all the time. Particularly with leviathan and spire. Personally I help people run spire of Stars as of late and have over 20 clears most of which were just helping noobs. I hate these posts because they are just ignorant lazy people that complain and have pity parties for no reason. I’m happy to help you if I see your post up on Xbox lfg. Get over yourself and put in the tiny bit of effort
-
Maybe get a clean, or at least try guided games - although I've read about wait times on guided games. Seems like it sucks, but if you get some guides from that I'm sure you'll get your completion and not have to worry anymore.
-
I got super lucky with this and one guy I knew was in a clan that would take me. If it weren't for that I'd be in your position.
-
Open your own LFG and ask for Sherpas and new people are welcome. Paradox solved.
-
3 отв.I regularly Sherpa raids. If anyone needs help with a raid on PS4, let me know.

Изменено (ghostx78x): 6/5/2018 12:31:50 PMI met one just this week that was one of the meanest ppl I have ever met in the Destiny community- and that’s saying a lot. He really went out of his way to put ppl down, even his 2 friends he brought along. When we wanted the secret chest in spire he refused to help because he wanted the boss cp right away so he could farm. We had to skip the chest and then we got through phase 1 easily. Suprprise, surprise, we didn’t finish phase 2 on the second try so he kicked the 3 lfg players, making sure to insult us as much as possible while he did it. Apparently you need to be an arc strider in this caveman’s mind to do the raid. I wish I would have just left when he told us we couldn’t get the secret chest. Truly a disgusting human and all you can do is mute them and then you never have to deal with them again. I remember his name but can’t warn anyone here about him due to Bungie’s infamous policy. Long story short- for every 1 prick like that guy I meet 30 cool ppl on lfg. A lot of groups that don’t have emblem requirements run smoother than emblem groups, btw.

2 отв.No idea what the post was about but I saw Paradox in a Destiny context and immediately my mind went back to the D1 mission. Want to know what went wrong in D2? Go and play Paradox. Anyway, you were saying...?
-
My group throws up a post at least once a week and we never ask for any of those things. I admit we are likely in the minority but there are groups out there that will bring new players into the raid. On another note if you are willing to use lfg then you should just go to 100.io and find a consistent group.
-
Join a clan that raids. Done.

Изменено (GrundleBeans): 6/6/2018 3:13:33 AMPeople keep talking like there's only teams that demand people with experience, which isn't at all true. There are so many groups without those requirements and so many inexperienced individuals all trying to find groups and it's like they all forget that each other exist or that we can form our own teams without rules. It's not like all the "hardcore" players had experience with each raid before they each dropped to know what what all the mechanics were.
-
Yup grind it out buddy Form your own group of misfit raiders get as far as you can Then form another misfit raider group and repeat If you get into a raid group that is MUST have just drop Here is the key Despite wether you finish that segment learn all positions of the segment Polish YOUR abilities in the raid even if your team mates are failing around you
-
In the time it took you to create this post and read most of these comments, you could have joined a group through Guided Games. 👴🏽
-
You start your own group, then people like me join to help. There is a lot of raid vets out there that will jump in new parties and at least teach an encounter or 2, and then you post for another one. I.e. at calus need guide. And again someone will probably jump in and at least help you put with the encounter. That's how in started raiding 2 years ago. Made off groups or joined groups til I got the encounters down and stopped getting kicked from them
-
Make your own post. Why is this so hard? If you don't have any clears, make your own post saying you want someone to help guide you through your first raid. People do actually join those groups. Or make a "learning party" where you all learn the mechanics together.
-
This is not true, I have simply never had a hard time finding a group for a raid. Too many different ways of making it happen. Don't expect to join a group looking to do a speed run because that's not what they want to do. Learn the mechanics before going in Know what some good load outs are Be honest when hitting people up for lfgs Don't be an annoying idiot Pay attention and humble yourself about your skill.
-
1 ответYou remember the D1 community was helpful? “I remember Must have Ghorn!” Every fckn reset! How do you not see the hypocrisy of your post? You’re obviously upset about not be able to run with experienced raiders and blame requirement posts but in actuality... You don’t want to make a non required post because you don’t want to run with inexperienced players to become experienced! Join a clan. Watch the Raiding for idiot videos. Run them until you become experienced! Just like us experienced raiders have always done!!! Stop the whining about not being backpacked through every raid! Learn it then Earn it!
-
2 отв.there is no paradox. if you can't get into a raid group because you have no clears, create a group of players that have no clears and earn that first clear, just like many of those who have plenty of clears did.
-
Just like the real life when you go out of school and look for a job. Potential employers want people with experience, but you can't gain the experience if you can't get a job. I teach 16-19 year olds in a college in London and honestly, this is a huge problem for all of my students. I've been doing this job nearly 20 years now and every year it gets worse for them.
-
4 отв.There are plenty of lfg groups that don't ask for completions. It's mostly insecure and or incompetent raiders that demand emblems.
-
4 отв.Haven’t seen this post 1000x over the last 3.5 years.. You don’t like that people have requirements in their posts? Make your own. The problem here is not that you cannot find a raid team, it’s that you cannot get into groups of players who have all completed the raid already. You could very easily find 5 other players in the same situation as you by making a post with no requirements.. But you don’t want to be stuck with scrubs.. Just like people you’re complaining about.
-
4 отв.You have two options basically: - Ask a sherpa to carry you. - Make your own team of inexperienced players and try and beat it yourself. I'm in the exact same situation as you for Spire of Stars but the fact of the matter is that no one is obliged to carry you.
-
Yo if you're on Xbox, add me and my clan will help
