Your guardian was mute for a beta. For one mission. Wait until the full game comes out before you post shit like this.
Edit: I've been corrected people, let's calm down lol

RIP dude, probably gonna get shredded for that error
-
I can never die. I'm a Guardian.

Изменено (Atomic): 7/29/2017 4:35:09 AMThe guardian talked in the first mission of D1
-
Yeah I was talking D2 but was corrected
-
Ign asked Bungie and they confirmed that our characters are mute
-
So looks like we both made the same error. Didn't read before posting.
-
What error did I make?
-
You didn't read that another user showed me the error of my ways. Thus you told me something I already knew ;D
-
Изменено (Impurity41): 7/29/2017 4:34:34 AMYea I guess. I saw the user before me act like a bitch so I decided to write my post nicely and move on.
-
Well in any case I appreciate it :D
-
You're welcome 👍

Hey look, the guy who swoops in and offers nothing!
-
Coming from someone who didn't know what they were talking about...
-
My apologies :D
-
Luke Smith confirmed that the guardians were mute in the full game already
-
Now I know. Is it really that big of an issue still? Being a role playing game? Sure I loved my guardians lines in D1 but at the same time those lines never spoke for my opinion, or the opinion I'd have if I was the Guardian I played.
-
Backward logic...NPC said things your guardian responds= immersion.
-
This is not a role playing game though...
-
But it is. You are playing a character you aren't living out in real life. You have a role to fulfill as a guardian. Voice or no voice, you are playing a role.
-
Is Halo an RPG? No, it's an FPS. This is the same, it has light RPG elements with slight leveling and gear changes, but the overall arc of the story is on rails. We all make the same decisions that have no consequences. A true RPG allows you to make your own decisions and actually implement your play style in the game. Such as helping the random npc find their "thing". Or kill them and join the dark brotherhood.

Since we know the character can it should like it used to. Most mmorpg characters at least have voice lines ours just scream in death.
-
The character should, at this point in the story, especially given the lack of dialogue in D1, feel like yourself. Plenty of games follow that model and are still successful.
