Stop the stupid lfg requirements
I have played with many groups who say they know what they are doing, done it before and are 375+ but they can't even beat the raid then yesterday I joined a group (on my friend's account) 365+ where one person didn't know how to do the encounters and only 1 had beat the raid before. So we went through we explained to this guy what you had to do and guess what we beat every encounter first try... It just shows that these stupid requirements are not needed a good player will be able to just as well.
And then for trials well you can't judge a player by his stats you can farm it high or it can be dropped low by just not taking it seriously all of the time. I have played with people who have double my K/D but are no where near as good and then played with players with a lower K/D then me who have been much better. Stats while for the upmost sweats it may show how good they are for most it will not be an accurate representation; they may have been terrible at one point but are now gods or they may spend most of their games doing stupid challenges.
So there is no need what so ever for stupid requirements in both PvE and PvP in truth if you are a good player it shouldn't matter if someone has exactly the same skill as you and don't look down on people just because of your stats so just learn that not everybody cares about their stats and takes everything seriously.
Edit 1: light levels is a bit different i understand certain requirements but do not belive for the raid you need to be 380+ or that for trials you need a 2 K/D

Edit 3: you guys must remember running kings fall even after it had been out for almost a year with a full team of 335's and struggling to get it done so light really doesn't matter because it can be done easily with a full team of 315's

You made a perfect point...but none of the so-called experts will own up to it...ALL OF US started from the same damn place..NOT KNOWING SHYT ABOUT THIS GAME...you had friends helping you/teaching you the raids FFS you maybe even watched Datto play on youtube just to figure it out...in short NONE of you are experts and none of you should be attacking the OP because unless you work for bungie and know every damn mechanic of this game YOU ARE ALL FVCKING NOOBS....We All started there..and he's right STATS are just bragging rights THEY MEAN NOTHING...Its the skill of the player and there is no way you can tell that by just looking at numbers. The Requirements are BS its a sign to most that you just wanna be carried or you dont match up to what your asking for..simply put..JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME we are all trying to reach that 400 brass ring aswell as the lighthouse. WE all paid the same price for the game and we should get to explore EVERY aspect to get our full money worth.

Just don't play with those people. It may take some time, but if you recruit your own group, things get much better. I did, and I had fun with the raid. We didn't even finish, but everyone was fun, cool, and most importantly chill. No one bitched about light levels or when someone screwed up. Why? Because that was my one requirement when recruiting ... "Don't be a douche. We're in it to have a good time."

If someone is forming their own fireteam, they can ask for whatever they want. They can ask for all players to be wearing pink tutus. What you or anyone else thinks about it is irrelevant.

See this is the reason that some of you people ruin the community with your nasty toxity remarks. One day when I reach 385 or 400 I will definetely help out those in need of a carry. And just remember you guys were also carried by your own group so you got to remember where you started. So many toxic players in one post it is hilarious. Since there are like 113 upvotes I'm sure someone has already said this but this behavior did not start on this game and it won't be the last game to adopt it. People are just assholes and will continue to make their own stupid requirements that will forever be so asinine that they will want you to have better gear than the raid even requires to join their party when they don't even meet their own demands. This was incredibly prevalent in WoW and I'm sure it didn't start there either.

As far as I'm concerned, one random person has said something. Another random person has come up with proof that the original randoms story was hogwash. Original random has subsequently retconned his story, and failed to offer a single shred of evidence. Tl;dr - one random can back up his assertions, the other cant. Lol personally anyone can come along on raids with my friends. But bruh, if ppl want to make 380+ requirements that's their choice. No one is entitled to be placed upon someone else's team. If an individual makes requirements, those are his requirements. It's undeniable that having 6 385's make the raid a massive and rapid cake walk. Now light level doesn't mean skill. But saying "360, skilled knows what to do" doesn't mean jack either. Let ppl raid how they want to, you do the same. You can't force ppl to lower their requirements.

I get aggravated when I see those requirements, but I guess I can understand a group that just wants to get thru a raid or trials without having to take the time to teach or explain things, idk.... But that approach just isn't me. We all learned the tricks and tactics from other guardians who took the time to show us what they know. And each and every time, I was extremely thankful. I would NEVER turn a first-time guardian away! Just sayin...

Tl;dr by paragraph: Some high light players suck. One time I had a raid of new players and it went well. This is indicative of a trend. Pvp stats are dumb and I don't like them. Stats are dumb in general. OK, maybe they're not dumb, but people asking for them are. Shout out to my fans! Love you all (even the haters) No, for real, stat requirements are dumb because outliers exist. Nice job me. Self high five!

2 отв.These topics need to stop, we get another one at least every other week, but nothing is going to change ever. As a group leader, I have the sole right to specify the requirements of my group and decide who I want in my group. If you don't like the requirements, find your own group, or make your own. Just because you don't like the requirements of a group doesn't mean that you can somehow enforce a set of rules on it. If someone chooses to set a minimum light level and you disagree with it, then you can start a conversation with that person, but there is literally nothing you can do to "force" someone to change it. Also, just because someone asks for 370+ and isn't at that level themselves doesn't make them a "hypocrite", some people just understand how the game works better than others. Being at or above the recommended light level reduces the damage you take and increases the damage you deal. This increases the rate of success. Sure, player skill level is the other half of this equation, but still it's a two part deal here. While I understand that you may not like it, I would ask you and everyone else to please stop posting these topics. This topic has been beaten to death and has resulted in the nerfing of multiple things in the game already. You may not like it, but this is just one of those things that Bungie can not fix without adjusting some pretty big systems in their game.
